Frontier Deck Builders did an outstanding job building a deck on our new construction home. We wanted a maintenance free deck, and they helped us choose a product that not only is maintenance free, but looks like wood. The work was done quickly, efficiently, and on time.

My wife and I could not be any happier with Frontier Deck Builders! We interviewed three companies and the cost was in the middle of the three, but no doubt in our minds this was definitely the right company. First of all, Andrew the owner came out multiple times when we were deciding what we wanted and was always there to help us think ideas through. He also came out as the job moved along. His crew Mike and Jamie were the absolute best crew in the world! Very professional, polite, and not enough words can be said for these two guys. So pleasant to work with and so talented in the work they performed in making this porch a beauty. The detail they provided was incredible work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and this crew if able to get them.

The project went very?well. Used Azek composite decking, wood railings with Azek caps, hexagonal 'bump out' portion, connecting a back and side door. Andy Merz (owner) involved throughout. ?Can't judge price because we didn't get comparison quotes, but given the unique design he created I do not know who else could have come up with it or built it as well as his team did.

It couldn't have gone any better; even with one of the worst winters we've seen in the area in decades.  The project started on the exact day Andy said it would and thereafter his crew showed up even on days after 12"+ of snow, significant wind and near zero temps to try to complete the job.  One of the best things about Frontier Deck Builders is that Andy's crew only works on one project at a time which ensures focus on quality and timely completion.  In prior similar projects at our previous home, I've found that several contractors in the area demand large deposits (over 25% in some cases) and then make excuses about starting as they are juggling multiple projects and focus only on the project that is the most expensive or the homeowner that screams the loudest - a terrible way to do business.  Andy is the complete opposite and understands how frustrating this can be for customers who demand and expect quality for their hard earned money - regardless of the size/dollar amount of the project. 
Andy's (and his main caprenter - Dave) dedication to quality, customer service and committment to excellence is unprecedented.
We'll eventually build an outdoor stone patio, outdoor kitchen and fire pit next to the screened-in porch and we wouldn't think of working with anyone else!

The owner, Andy, was very responsive. The workers showed up on time and did what we asked. They worked with any of our changes on the fly. We asked them to put in doors at the top of the steps and they accommodated that even though we just sprung that on them when we realized we needed it. They did well.

We were in desperate need of a new deck. I started collecting pictures of decks and saw a deck built by Frontier Deck Builders in a magazine. I called for an estimate from Frontier as well as two other companies. Estimates were provided based on building a 14' x14' deck with Azek deck material. The estimates from all companies were pretty comparable. (Azek material is a little pricey.) We decided on Frontier because Andy Merz (owner) was alway very responsive to our calls/questions. The Frontier crew (Dave and John) who actually built our deck are definitely valuable assets to their company. It took approximately 10 days to complete the deck. Dave and John arrived at our house around 8 - 8:30 am every morning and worked until 4 pm or later. Our deck is exactly what we wished for--absolutely beautiful. I would certainly recommend Dave and John from Frontier Deck Builders.
