"We would like to take this opportunity and thank Miss W for her review. We take criticism very seriously and we always try to learn from it. We take pride in our work and we truly strive to deliver the best quality at competitive price. In order to lower the cost and offer the best price possible,we explained to Miss W that we do not include printing fees in our estimate and that we send all our design plans by email in a PDF format. The plan can then be emailed to a print shop( e.g.Staples or Office Depot) to be printed to the size required by the reviewing agency. We also tried to explain to Ms.W, that the"blurry letters"( the pdf that we sent her was sharp and clear) might be caused by her computer setup or her printer.Ms.W made a complaint to Home Advisor. Home Advisor placed us on a three-way phone conversation. We asked Ms.W what her complaint was.She said that Montgomery County requires the plan to be on an 11in x17 in format.( This is what she meant by "It did not meet the Montgomery County Building Permit inspection"). We were not aware what format she used for printing. The next day we had the plans printed at a print shop and overnight them to her at our expense. Miss W. came back to us sometime later to say that the contractor wanted some design changes made.We explained to her that our plans are done strictly by the latest building code and that a change may not meet County approval. Nerveless , we made changes for no additional fee.We then printed the drawings at a print shop and mailed them again to her at our expense. We do not hand carry our plans to our clients( many of whom are in different states). Again,we would like to take this opportunity to thank Miss W for her business and apologize for not meeting her expectations ."
