Danmark Wood Floors

The floors came out looking beautiful despite being the first time they were refinished since the house was built in 1968.
Dan and Mark were on time all three days, were friendly, and didn't mind all my questions.
The dust infiltration to the rest of the house was much less than I expected.
They were several hundred dollars below the other quote we got.

We bought a house that had been abandoned for almost a year. The house was built in the early 90's. The previous (2nd owner)owner did not know how to do any maintenance on a house and it showed. The floors were a white pickled oak, or carpeting that had not been touched by a hoover in more than six years. or a grey tile that looked like it had received the same treatment. We removed everything on the main floor except in the dining room and the eat-in kitchen area. The floor in these areas was a mixture of red and white oak. The guys stripped the finish off these areas and installed new oak everywhere else except in the Kitchen. They then stained and applied poly to all of the wood surfaces. They were willing to work with which ever flooring supplier we wanted but we ultimately used the one they recommended because of a combination of price, availability, and service.

We are completely pleased with Danmark. We worked with Mark, a real pro who takes pride in doing excellent work. He took great care mixing the stain color so that it would be just right. He has always shown up just as scheduled, the work is being completed on schedule, and he has been friendly and accommodating all the way through. The guys who have helped him are friendly and polite. And the floors look just beautiful.

They arrived on time and ready to work. They completed the job when they said they would and returned twice to add the final coats of polyurethane. They did a fantastic job. I recommended them to my in laws to refinish their family room floor. They did the same great work.
