ASSURED PROPERTY INSPECTION SERVICES

Mr. Phillips seemed to do a thorough job, explaining things to me as we went through the inspection together. He missed one very important item, however. He used a ladder to access my attic to inspect it. I did NOT crawl up the ladder after him to do the same. After living in the home for a year and a half, I decided I wasn't happy with the heat/cold retention in the second floor and would supplement the insulation. When I crawled up into the attic to take measurements, imagine my surprise when I found out the attic was NOT insulated. There were a few pieces of insulation covering the sprinkler pipes, but that was it. I was able to rectify the situation (at no cost to me) with the homebuilder, but I do resent the fact that I paid more on utilities than I should have for a year and a half due to the oversight of my home inspector.
