From the initial call to the final discussion about our situation was top notch! Not high pressure and honest! Fixed my dryer (I have gone through a couple of them in this house). After fixing he addressed the real problem… venting. He explained that needed to be addressed or I would be right back where I started. Great people and great service

My refrigerator began acting up and the temperatures in both the refrigerator and the freezer began climbing. After the freezer temp hit 27 degrees, I searched for an appliance repair company in Columbia and found none. I subsequently found Parker & Sons on Angi and contacted them. At noon yesterday (Friday) they committed to showing up to assess/repair my problem, despite having to come from Glen Arm, MD, some 45 minutes away. At 3 PM, Bob showed up, began diagnostics and quickly identified the likely problem and replaced the faulty part. Immediately, things started purring and, in short order, the temperatures began falling back towards normal levels. As of this morning, both temperatures are where they should be. Bob's professional competence, integrity and demeanor are remarkable and, to me, unusual in the appliance repair industry. I strongly recommend homeowners in need of appliance repairs seriously consider using Parker & Sons!

Good job fixing the fridge

Parker & Sons was able to get a technician to me within a couple of hours to check out a dying freezer. The technician was knowledgeable and thorough, though in the end we determined that repair would not be realistic due to lack of replacement parts. I have no problem with calling on them again for future repair work.

Robert has a wealth of knowledge regarding small and large appliances. He has kept my aged side-by-side Subzero running for years. Robert thoroughly explains what has caused the need for his service and whether it's best to repair or replace the appliance. I was very enthused to learn he made the decision to establish his business, and highly recommend calling for your appliance repairs.

Robert was excellent, came out right away, gave a fair estimate, and also took the time to explain the work that needed to be done. Unfortunately, we ended up needing a new stove, however, Robert was kind enough and generous with his time to give recommendations for a replacement stove. Robert arrived right in the middle of the 2 hour window we had scheduled. He is friendly and very nice. The clothes washer wasn’t filling with water. The house is on a well and Robert discovered some particulates had clogged the hose connection water screen at the back of the washer. Robert fixed it in 10 minutes and recommended a filter at the output line of the well tank. I’m semi-handy and so I bought and installed the filter myself. The service call base price was so reasonable. We were relieved that the washer wasn’t needing major repair! So beyond nice and friendly, Robert is also kind and generous. We called on him a couple more times before selling the house. I heartily recommend Robert. It is refreshing to know someone who will fix it right in the most efficient way. Robert was quick to figure out the problem with our oven and was able to order and replace the broken part very fast. Will definitely call them again for future repairs.
