This fellow did a great job cutting down and removing two tall (90+ feet) tulip poplars close to the back of our home. Other companies proposed bringing in large cranes, including one that wanted to reach *over* our two-story house! Tip Top took a less dramatic approach, with excellent results and minimal damage to our lawn. One of our neighbors was so well impressed by their work that he contracted with Tip Top for work right after they finished our job. Tip Top did a nice job of cleaning up, which was a huge help considering the amount of debris after the stump grinding. We will use Tip Top again if we need any tree services.

After talking to Don around 9am, by 2pm he had done all the work for the HOA, me, and another neighbor, and cleaned up. He did a great job and it looks good. He takes time to trim up the little branches and to make sure the cuts are clean.

After the June 2012 derecho, we had a tree limb the size of a small tree (~8and quot; diameter at base) fall from a tall Tulip Poplar behind our house. This limb missed our house and deck but broke all the slats of our wooden fence. This caused us to reassess the risk of the two two 90-100 foot tall trees falling on our house or one of our neighbors' houses. We elected to have them removed. Tip Top Tree Service gave us the best price among three bidders, as well as the least disruptive removal approach. (Another bidder even proposed renting a large crane to reach over our two-story house to remove the trees - Yikes!) Tip Top did a fine, quick and effective job, including nice clean up of the amazing amount of wood chips from grinding the stumps below grade.
This is the second time we have used Tip Top, and would definitely use them again. They also got a job helping one of our neighbors, and did nice work there, as well. Give them a call!

They were very prompt and professional. Responded late on a Friday evening, as the remaining portion of a fallen tree was threatening to fall on the house. Removed some branches to make sure the tree was safe overnight. Returned the next morning to remove the entire tree. Gave us an estimate for more work in the future.

Cleaned up very well, better than expected. No damage to anything. would hire again.

Don Bridge called us back right away about all the storm damage in the area. He let us know that he might get to us this week. He later called and came out earlier than thought. They trimmed some old cherry trees. They also cleaned up our back yard filled with logs that were around 36 diameter. He made everything into mulch for us (he can dispose of himself but we wanted to keep it). The only thing he doesn't like to do is work on trees that will likely to fall on an electrical lines. He did an amazing job for us at a very reasonable price and he was very honest.

He gave us an honest evaluation of our problem and a very competitive price(at or below the going rate). He came when he said he would and very quickly and professionally did the work. Although the trees were very dangerous to work on, the was to damage to the workers or to property. The company is licensed (1014 - listed on the DNR site as TIP TOP TREE and LAWN SERVICE) and insured (Don provided a copy of his policy). In addition, reviews that I found on the internet indicated that he did a good job of cleaning up; he went far beyond a good job of cleaning up before he left. I could not be more satisfied with the outcome and recommend that for any type of tree work, you get an estimate from Don. You will not regret it.
