We needed to replace an AC unit (flush freon lines; remove and replace coil in existing furnace plus remove and replace outside condenser/compressor) and wire up to new electrical connection box. This is a small company but these folks are very good and importantly know what they are talking about and don't BS you. In our case they did not recommend adding a new AC unit to the old existing gas furnace system. But they also told us that they would be happy to do what we wanted as long as we understood that only the new AC side of the system would be covered by the labor and parts warranties and not any of the old existing HVAC system. For example, we bear the risk of the old blower motor failing if we only replaced the AC pieces mentioned above. Since we expect to sell the townhouse in the next year after interest rates come down, all we needed is to have a good working furnace and AC system. So we thought it was a reasonable risk and went with replacing the AC only. They did the job at the quoted price, efficiently and with great pre and post communication. Both the old furnace and incorporated new AC are working in tandem great now and it's been in operation the whole summer now without a hitch. We would seek this company out again for any HVAC work we need in the future. Debbie, the person you'll likely get on the phone when you call is a dynamo of a straight-shooting combination diagnostic technician, estimator, and customer service rep all rolled into one person, without spewing any BS about other stuff that you don't really need. We think this company is a treasure of a find! We initially found them through Washington Consumer's Checkbook.
