They're close to my house and they're reasonably priced. I've had no problems.

First time they did my hair was great. The second time it was a different person. I wanted highlights and they didn't tell me they don't do highlights until I drove all the way to the shop. Instead of highlights she glued different color pieces in my hair. I still have glue in my hair from that process. My hair is different lengths all over. She wasn't ready for me and was asked to give me an extra long wash because she wasn't ready for me.

I was one to go to walk in places for a quick hair cut.  But over the years and with age, I felt I need to take better care of my hair and stick a regular stylist rather than taking whom ever is available.  Other salons in the area charge twice as much and couldn't see spending that kind of money on a haircut. I decided to try Lilly Maritza Salon & Gallery and was pleasantly surprised and with their prices and level of professionalism. They offered me a seat in the waiting area in what looked like 1st Class airline seats, and offered me coffee or tea from their bar area. I didn't hear wine, but hope that's coming soon. The place is truly unique in its decor which is very refreshing. 
My hair dresser (Melissa) came over and introduced herself. She escorted me to the hair washing station. Along the way we discussed what I was looking for and she introduced me to the hair washer (not sure if there is an official title). Tatiana,  was very thorough and methodical about washing my hair.  She provided a pleasing scalp massage that had me wanting to go back just for that alone.   
Melissa approached my hair which I hadn't had cut in over 2 months, trying to let it to grow out so I could get a clean start.  Melissa got to work remembering what we discussed earlier. We made small talk along the way, but she was never distracted from what she was doing and what I had requested.  The results were remarkable and I am looking forward to returning soon.

She is awesome.

They have a green building that is beautiful and it is a combination art gallery and hair salon. It is very nice. Lilly herself is brilliant. She is a fabulous colorist for people that need that. She really knows her customers and asks the right questions. She is not satisfied until you are. She is also a fan of Flipper. She has another person there who is phenomenal for facials and stuff like that.
