It started out OK but Mr. Holden (and his father) increasingly pressured me for the work. My regular roofer was backed up and I ended up hiring Holden. I ended up paying twice my regular rate--but by then I had signed the contract. I blame myself for caving into pressure. When I raised issues with Holden Jr. he would start shouting--on more than one occasion. He caught me in a vulnerable period--I only received one other estimate which was for a different level of work. He also failed to come back and take care of a relatively minor oversight on one job---I seriously doubt he would actually hire his so-called warranty. I can only say "Caveat Emptor" as roofing season gets into full swing. PLEASE make sure you get AT LEAST 4 (four) estimates on any roofing work AND do avoid signing anything without giving yourself time to hear and meet with all 4 different contractors.
