Great, sold and purchased a house

We've been thinking about selling our house for years always hesitant to hire a real estate agent, then we met Eric. Eric is a true professional and a master of his trade. He and his helpful team answered all of our questions and were very responsive. Eric is a very organized and focused individual. Eric's knowledge of the area and real estate market in Howard county are unsurpassed. We will definitely be referring Eric to both family and friends, and will absolutely use him again when we buy or sell our next home. We couldn't be happier.

After we chose Eric as our agent, he worked with us to set a price that was in line with other houses that had recently sold, that were currently on the market, and which accurately reflected the value of our house with the improvements that we had made in recent years. He made recommendations and provided guidance but always made it clear that we had the final decision in everything.

One of the best parts of working with Eric and his team was the automated telephone notification system that was used to alert us to a pending visit by potential buyers and their real estate agents. The system made it easy to keep track of who would look at our house, when they would arrive, and how long the visit would last. Knowing when visits would occur made it easy for us to ensure that our house was presented in the best possible way.

Once our house sold, we received more excellent service from RE/MAX as Eric and Gayle Soriano assisted us through the process of working with the buyers, their agent, and the title company. Since we could not be present at closing, it was very important to us to have a company, an agent, and support staff who represented us and protected our interests. We were very happy with the process and service throughout the settlement phase.

My wife and I have dealt with Eric Pakulla for more than 10 years on eight separate real estate transactions involving buying and selling of residential properties. On each occasion involving sale of a property, it sold shortly after being placing on the market. For the homes we listed with Eric, numerous showings and top dollar were received on each one after following Eric's recommendations for maximizing their value and marketability. Eric and his motivated team members assisted with all aspects of closing as they closely reviewed figures contained within HUD-1 settlement statements and conscientiously worked on our behalf with the lenders and title companies. In our most recent sale, Eric worked with the title company to reduce their inflated fees.
We will continue to utilize the services of Eric Pakulla, as well as send him potential buyers and sellers.

Listed quickly, marketed well, sold fairly quickly but for less than guaranteed. The office staff was horrible. Eric does not follow up with anything in a timely manner. He submitted an incomplete offer to us - we then spent days faxing back and forth pieces of paper to try to finish and it made a huge mess. He and his staff will not meet with you once you sign the contract with him. VERY IMPERSONAL. I was put off by the lack of professionalism and emails he sent asking me to do things he and his staff should have been doing.
