From my first contact with DY Construction, I knew this company would be the answer to my needs. When I initially called for an estimate, the owner came to my home to listen to my needs and discuss the best way to accomplish the goal. It was very important to me that the communication was 2-way throughout the process, and I was very happy it started this way and continued through the completion of the project. They talked to me, gathered all the information, and made suggestions and recommendations that were useful in guiding me to the best decisions on materials and design. I researched alternatives thru the entire process, and DY was there to provide guidance, and never pushed. I did contact two other contractors for bids, but I came away with the feeling that I was either being pushed or they completely didn't care what happened, as long as I paid. In the end, DY built the deck, and it was extremely well built with pride. When I talked to the DY Construction builders, I could tell they wanted to make me happy that I entrusted my home to them. They were easy to work with, showed up on time, worked very hard, and produced a very high quality product. Last night, we experienced a harsh weather event with rain and winds up to 80 mph that damaged a lot of property and knocked out power to over a million other homes in this region. There was absolutely no damage to my new deck, and I am enjoying it right now.
If you prefer a company with personal service, pride of workmanship, and commitment to customer satisfaction, DY Construction fits the bill. Speaking of bills,I am extremely satisfied that the price was well below what the big companies quoted me for a lesser product.
