My husband and I wanted to become first time buyers of a townhouse in MD, and a friend at work referred us to the agent she used years ago, Debbie Burchardt. Debbie and Doug were truly outstanding; they took care of every step of the process, showed us about 20 places, walked us through all the details of making an offer, showed us competitive prices, were present at inspection. They referred us others only when we asked, never pressuring. Deal went smoothly-we closed in July, then when we went to enter home after a rent-back time, water was in basement. Doug B completely handled everything for us, called his personal plumber, made several trips to the house to coordinate plumber appointments, pulled back carpet, brought his own dehumidifier. Turned out pipe outside house underground leaked. Plumber came and fixed it, and Doug even smoothed out the dirt and planted grass seed, all this after closing. They went above and beyond!
