Bob and Fred were professional; good humored; and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

I wanted to replace my 20 year old electric WH with a gas version. I already had a gas line and going tankless would have been too much trouble (had to deal with BGE for a meter upgrade) So I sourced a high-capacity high recovery rate water heater with a smaller tank. Not may plumbers wanted to install this due to the new style or it wasn't purchased through them. Not Crouse, Bob was very easy to deal with and understood exactly what i wanted. From permit to installation he had it covered. The day of installation went smoothly and the workmanship was stellar. Fred, Bob and Charlie worked efficiently, showed a highly-knowledgeable skill set (explaining what they were doing) and didn't mind me tagging along (free helper labor). I enjoyed it and learned more about plumbing.

Have used Crouse before. As before I found Fred easy to work with, professional and reasonably priced.

Made a visit to help me select a water heater. After I made my decision, it took 6 weeks for the water heater to be delivered, whick was a couple of weeks longer than promised. Good thing my old water heater was still usable.

I felt like they were very honest and committed to fixing the problem in the most efficient and least expensive way. We've used them before and the guy seems to know what he's doing and wants to make sure that he's only doing what needs to be done (as opposed to charging me for something that I don't really need). We weren't at all shocked with their pricing.

I noticed a small leak in a pipe in the basement. Mr. Crouse came out and discovered he could not turn off the water to the house. Then he found he could not turn it off at the street either! But he succeeded over the course of several days.

The project came in on time, in budget and the bathroom is spectatular. We have used Bob for almost 15 years since moving to Maryland, including in a renovation of a historic home we previously owned. Bob and Fred are wonderful people to work with, provide professional and well priced services and we would unconditionally recommend them.

Not our first experience with this plumber. We have always been happy with them for both routine and emergency work.

They are always on time and they do good work at reasonable prices. I have used them for the past 5 years and I would highly recommend them.

I talked to Bob late last week and he was prepared to come out the same day but it being a holiday weekend I suggested that he come out Tuesday. He said he would be over between 9-11. Fred showed up at 9:30. Did a great job.

When the radiators blew out in the middle of the night, he called every 15 minutes to get an update! He knew my husband wasn't home and would have been happy to come out.

They showed up on time and were efficient. They were friendly and polite and did a great job. They did what they were supposed to do.

Bob Crouse came, himself, which was impressive. I was impressed with their work, punctuality and results. However, I recently (12/2010) had him back to the house to give me an estimate on a bathtub repair, and the cost quoted (for a replacement tub, as a repair was not possible) was over $4,000. I called another plumber from Angie's list who did the exact same job (in addition to some other small, related repairs) for $2500. Bottom line- Crouse is good, but costly.

They did a good job. I had one toilet that leaked and they replaced it with no questions asked.

They are very good, I would have them over for dinner any time. I was sad that the work was done because now I don't have them around anymore. They were really, really special. My husband felt they were reasonably priced.

We choose Crouse because they were very helpful on the phone. They also gave us the best price. They sent someone out to evaluate the problem and he came back the next day to install a new water heater. While he was working, he would be conscience of the fact he was in our home and asked us permission to go around in it. After he was finished, he cleaned his work area very well. He was also able to take away the old water heater so we didn't have to worry about it. I will use this plumber again in the future.

They gave a good price, started and finished on time. Came back in the spring to finish restoring landscape.

WE HAVE USED THEM FOR MANY YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS GOT GOOD SERVICE FROM THEM. THEY ARE PRETTY GOOD ABOUT BEING PROMPT. THE ESTIMATE STAYS THE SAME AND THE WORK IS COMPLETED QUICKLY.
