I also live on the West Coast and there was a lot of hand holding she had to do to get home inspection, appraisal, repairs, title company to ensure all went well. She did a remarkable job. We contacted Christine as soon as we knew we were moving to Columbia from Oklahoma. Since we did not know anyone in the area, we needed to rely on Angie’s list to help us find the right agent and we’re so glad we did! She made us feel confident in choosing her to be our agent from the very beginning. She told us to send addresses of homes we saw that we liked on Zillow a few weeks before a week-long house hunting trip so she could have a good idea of what we were interested in before we got here. Also, we needed to use a Relocation company and she was familiar with that process. While driving around looking at homes, she shared LOTS of info about the area and community of Columbia. We feel like we would not have found our new home (which we LOVE) if not for Christine and her expertise. Christine is now our friend...not just our real estate agent. Moving halfway across the country is stressful but Christine helped ease our stress with her kindness and her knowledge.

Chris was extremely responsive. She found contractors to get the property ready for sale and for the repairs needed after the buyer's inspection. Throughout the process, Chris provided us with sound advice and suggestions. The closing on the sale of the townhouse went very smoothly. Chris was on top of every aspect. We have worked with several agents before but Chris Basham is the best. She is trustworthy, positive, and very competent. We highly recommend her.
