Elderly mother has  mild dementia & got confused during appraisal process. Allowed them to take 2 valuable, treasured pieces that she didn't intend to sell. Her fault, not theirs.  She signed the consignment form. When we went to Caplan's, items were already being displayed for an auction coming later that day, and had been advertised. Nevertheless, Caplan's staff allowed her to have the 2 treasured items back, even though she had signed a contract to consign them, and the items had been advertised as being auctioned off later that day. Caplan's staff did not have to do this,  & they may have earned several hundred dollars on those items if they had been sold. We thank them for going above & beyond to make her happy.

They are very professional. They help you in finding people to buy your antiques by putting them on auction. And they move things to my personal home and then moved things to my mothers senior living residence. Then they took the things that I did not want and they disposed of them. They where great. They started moving (with four me) at 8 AM to 7 PM.
