How'd it go? We want all the details They arrived when they said they would; install was fast and tech was neat and cleaned up afterward.

Budget Blinds are prompt.

Patty, Jamie, and Eric were very easy to deal with. Patty did the measuring. Jamie called on a Sunday to let me know that he had the shades and Eric installed them the next day.

I had a broken blind that I wanted to fix or replace and I had a coupon from Budget Blinds. They made an appointment right away and convinced me that the blind needed to be replaced and that I should do the others in the room at the same time. They tried to sell me the top of the line blinds, which were beautiful, but not in my budget. They helped me narrow in on the color, style, and mode of operation. She wrote a quote and left samples behind for me to look at during various times of the day with different light. Although I had a coupon for 30% percent off, I was never sure exactly what the list price was so I had to trust that I was really getting a good price. To that end, I went to a NEXT DAY BLINDS to get a quote as well. I came home with samples and a quote that was about 15% higher and mentioned this to my Budget Blinds person when they came over to pick up the samples. To her credit, she was not defensive when I asked about the price difference, but said she likes to compare prices, too. She then laid the samples out side-by-side and I could easily see that I was not comparing the same quality material. Next Day Blind's sample was their least expensive and my quote was for a middle grade blind from Budget Blinds. She offered to cut $50 off the price and I went ahead and placed the order. They were installed 3 weeks later and I love them, especially the handle lift, and am very satisfied with the service.

They pretty much came when they said. The materials arrived when they said it was going to arrive. We were pretty much satisfied with that, and they came out looking good.

Ordering was okay. I only wish Stephanie had offered more ideas and opinions on different window treatment options. I'm not at all good at decorating, and as the owner of Budget Blinds, I would think she could offer more suggestions. Stephanie measured everything in a timely fashion, but her husband (forgot his name) came back to redo the measurements.
Installation was very quick and done really well. As mentioned above, after he left, I noticed one of the roller blinds didn't retract the entire way. He was back within a week to fix it. The blinds and roller shades were all very nice quality.
Overall very pleased, but I'd recommend being able to make suggestions to clients on different options for different looks with windows, not to upsell, but just to give ideas to clueless clients like me. I would use again, but I'd come prepared with different pictures of windows I liked.

The price was reasonable. It is a full service sort of company and we had a real complicated window that needed blinds. He came out and measured and looked at what we wanted to do and gave us what he thought was the best option. We needed a full service company that was going to do the whole thing from beginning to end and not just sell them to us or mail them to us.

They did come short on my blinds but their service was very prompt. They were very good at what they did and they also followed up. I wanted to get my wall painted before I could put the blinds. Since my painter had other things to work on, I ended up getting the blinds before I got my wall painted. The only thing I would mark them down on is that, the person who did the original measurements had measured one of the windows incorrectly.
