She did an excellent job. You can hardly tell that the head had to be drilled. The heads were originally attached with a rubber band so Ms. Franz used cording so they will now last forever!!! We were quite impressed with the workmanship and that it was done in a timely fashion!
Description of Work: Ms. Franz repaired two dolls that are about 60 years old. She was able to put the head back on one doll. The other doll had the head pulled off and the eyes had been pushed inside the head. Ms. Franz had to drill a small hole in back of the head; meticulously put the eyes back; plug the hole; and repaint the back.

She reattached all arms, legs and head. Ms. Franz restored the original wig, added weights to the eyes so that they would open and close when the doll moved. She repainted the porcelain body to an exact match of the face, repaired the original dress and added pants and shoes to complete the outfit. This doll was very sentimental to me and I love the work Ms. Franz performed which took approximately 6-8 weeks. I recommend her highly for your doll restoration, Ms. Franz was a pleasure to work with.
Description of Work: Ms. Franz completely restored a porcelain antique doll that is approximately 92 years old.
