She was very professional, patient, and very skilled during the pinning session. She had good ideas of what looked best and is modern but still asked our opinions about her pinning decisions. I found her to be cordial, professional, and talented. The suit turned out excellent and we were very grateful that she was able to accommodate our request for a quick turnaround (5 days). The suit was an expensive, well-made suit and we were concerned that choosing the wrong tailor would be the end to this beautiful suit. We are so pleased with the work and I would trust this company with any item, no matter how important.

The service was excellent, my dress was ready on time and when it needed a little bit of adjustments, I said it was okay and she insisted that she make the changes and had it ready for me the next day and it fit perfect!

This was an old Navy pea coat that my son loved and the lining had disintegarted. Anna did a beautiful job and my son is thrilled to wear his fathers jacket again. She even preserved his name plate from the old lining and had it sewn into the new one.

Excellent service again. I've had several dress shirts altered at Anna's and they are perfect every time. The work is so professional it's hard for me to tell which shirts have been done without putting it on.

Anna is the best and most referred tailor in the Ellicott City area. Every piece of clothing I purchase requires alterations and I always take them to Anna. Suit jacket alterations require special skills and I am very particular about who does these. Anna does a perfect job every time and her prices are very fair. I have recommended her to many people.

I couldn't be happier with Anna's work. When I went, I accidentally went to the back door, and she very graciously let me in and through the back of her shop. I tried on the dress for her and gave her an idea of how I'd like it to fit. The dress is a little bit complicated, with an open back and a cummerbund type waist, and Anna spent time looking at the construction of the dress to figure out the best way to alter it. She worked her magic with a few pins and it fit perfectly. I had only one week for the work to be done, and she said that was no problem. When I picked the dress up, it fit like a glove, just like the way she had pinned it, and you can't tell at all that any alterations have been done. Anna's jubilation and excitement when I tried the dress on was also very nice - she clearly takes a lot of pride in her work. She is a delight to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to her (even though I live about 30 min away from her shop), and would highly recommend her to anyone needing alterations.

Things went very smoothly. We took the dress to the shop, my daughter tried the dress on, Anna pinned the dress. Only there for 10 minutes. Dress was ready a week later and fit perfectly.

I found Anna through Angie's List, and decided to compare her work to the in-house tailors I usually use at places like Men's Wearhouse, Macy's, etc. Her work absolutely stands up to her ratings on Angie's List, and there's no comparison between her work on that of the in-house tailors I used in the past. I have used her several times since my initial visit in February 2013.
What impressed me most about Anna was her willingness to show me why a suit I purchased didn't fit well, explain why she couldn't fix the problem, and recommend that I return it. I now feel as if I have a safety-net who will help prevent me from buying ill-fitting suits.
Anna's work isn't inexpensive, but it's not significantly higher than what you pay for a store tailor. The difference in quality is well worth the price.

Anna took in a woman's camel coat and reduced the size just enough so it wasn't enormous butI could wear a bulky sweater under it. She did a very fine job. She also reduced the size on two shawls, making them into two scarves each. The work on both the coat and shawls was excellent; she was prompt and the work was done on time and to my expectations. The coat price was $75.00 and I thought that quite reasonable; however, she charged me $15.00 PER scarf...that's $60 to basically cut the shawls in half and run a seam up one side of each. I felt this was a bit overpriced. I would not have her do such simple work again; however, I would take other items to her for tailoring. NOte: this was an extremely busy shop and I had to wait at least 20 minutes to have her wait on me initially. When she did so, she took her time and measured and pinned my coat, checking as she went to be sure it was to my expectation. Be prepared to wait for both drop off and pick up. Both times,( I went on different days, at different times), I waited at least 15 minutes.

I've been using Anna for years for all kinds of alterations -from simple shortening of sleeves and hems to complex tailoring of items that just didn't fit right. Her work is perfection, price is very reasonable, and she's a delight.
