Great job replacing my large back porch. Dave made numerous recommendations on how to economically complete the job and still have a well built and visually appealing structure. He acquired all materials quickly and completed the job under budget. Dave and Jake were friendly and reliable and paid attention to detail. Jake even climbed on my roof to rescue my cat! I will definitely use this company for any future jobs on my house.

This is the second time I have used this contractor. Prompt service, fair price, and quality workmanship. Obviously takes pride in his craft.

D L Palmer hired to stain my new deck, I was concern about the weather. Mr palmer choose a day that was good to get the job done. several days later, I checked out the job. Work was outstanding, He did what he promised. Very professional. would recommend

Dave (and his assistant Jake) just completed the installation of a white vinyl railing on our existing no-maintenance deck. He was prompt in arriving each day (arrived when promised), efficient (all work completed 1 day ahead of schedule) and did all work as promised. The previously installed steps needed additional work, which involved removing, modifying, and re-installing 2 sets of stairs. Dave's attention to detail recognized that this modification would ensure the finished job would look seamless. The completed installation looks wonderful! Other bids I received never mentioned the mis-alignment of the stairs. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave to future clients. I have already asked him to estimate additional work at my home!

I had stairs that was coming apart and Dave and Jake were able to clear some of their schedule to come out fix them! They did an amazing job and was done fast. I have to say I was very satisfied with the price and how easygoing the whole process was. Thank you guys and I definitely will be contacting you again!

This was actually a major remodel of a master suite that involved two baths, a walk-in closet, a hallway, moving walls, fixing roof leaks, heated tile floor, custom built showers, and more. Dave was wonderful to work with! He quoted out every last detail and never tried to give us false expectations. He was very conscientious about the quality of all phases of the job. Not only was his own work in carpentry, wall building, vanity installation and tiling excellent, but as our General Contractor he brought in a wonderful plumber, electrician, HVAC, and tile people and I am using them all again for various odd jobs as things come up with other parts of the house. Since our house is a somewhat neglected 30 year old home, we had expected to find all sorts of problems, but whatever we encountered, Dave made sure it was fixed right before the end of the project. We didn't have a plumb wall to start with, but by the time he finished all the demo and rebuild, the Master Suite never looked this good! The only other thing I can say is that this was the first time we had ever had any sort of remodel done and we started with a lot of custom built tile showers and odd tile and tried to coordinate Silestone countertops and sills from one place and tile from another and in the end the project took even longer than expected because it was hard to coordinate what needed to be done in what order or ordered when. When we have him do our last bathroom later this year, I will know to be a little bit more on top of that if I'm in a hurry, rather than expecting Dave to have everything scheduled with no wasted time. Specifically, I also did not realize that doors and baseboards would have to be stained, so I had them sitting in the garage for days before realizing that I could have been doing that so they'd be ready for when he needed to install them. That's probably more my inexperience than anything else. Dave was a pleasure to work with and he really seemed to care that everything was exactly where we wanted it, giving his expert advice if I was about to make a stupid decision (something for which I am very grateful since, as I mentioned, this was our first remodel ever) so we are very, very pleased with the result! His prices were below the average of all the estimates we received and yet the quality of the work and the results are outstanding! Nothing below average there! Also his estimate was spot on and there were no overages except when we changed or mind and added something. I would recommend him to anyone for any home project.

I was very impressed with D.L. Palmer Construction. Contacted me quickly, came out and gave me an honest and fair evaluation of my project. Dave explained step by step what was going to be done and how long it would take. Made sure that he cleaned up after himself and I would not hesitate to call Dave for any of my home improvement needs.

It turned out that I did not need any work to fix my problem. Mr. Palmer offered suggestions that I could do myself to deal with condensation problems on a garden window. It makes me really remember someone positively when they give me advise at no cost to me, and a potential job loss to them. I am certain that any experience with his company would be honest and ethical. I would highly recommend him and will put together a list of small jobs that I cannot or don't want to do for myself, and call him again. Thanks.

We had some wind damage to the upper level. I placed a call on Wednesday. David responded back that day. He came to our house the next day on his way home from another job. Called me from house told me what it would cost to repair the damage. He made some suggestions on the repair. I gave him the green light over the phone based on the things we discussed. I got home he was finishing the job. Very nice guy and seems to be very good at what he does. I plan to share his contact information with others that I know. Extremely professional and helpful. We had a small project, and were treated as if it were just as important as a large remodel. Very respectful and accommodating of our family's busy schedule. The project was completed on time (3 days), right before the holidays. We love the work that was done, and would recommend DL Palmer to our friends and neighbors. Dave, is a very professional contractor along with being very talented and keeping an eye for detail. He replaced my siding which flew off, along with fixing out some kinks in other part of the house. He cleans up the work, along with keeping you informed of any issue he notices which might cause you issues in the future. I will work with dave again in the future, great quality work and reasonable price.
