Wonderful! They installed a sump pump in my old house. The man who came out (Jorge) was polite, professional, and cleaned up after himself. I was very satisfied with the work. I moved recently, and the new basement smelled damp, so I contacted Basement Systems again. I got their SaniDry, which is quiet and energy -efficient. It drains right into the sump pump, so I don't have to empty it. The basement now feels dry and comfortable, and everything I store down there in cardboard boxes smells clean. All of my dealings with the company have been very good.

Basement Systems USA is a great company. I never write reviews but I have to say I was so happy with the work they performed in my basement. I had extreme water damage behind the walls of my finished basement that was never seen by the home inspector a few years back. Over the last year every time it rained I would have small amount of water on my basement floor. Finally in a large rain storm our basement flooded. I called Basement Systems USA and Dave Ryan came to my house, did a full inspection and found the problem areas. His crew came out lead by the foreman Estaban and three days later I have a dry and smell free basement. The installers were great, hardworking and professional. I can't recommend this company enough and I am finally happy I can use my basement!

We recently had an egress window installed in our basement by Basement Systems, USA and we couldn’t be more pleased. Basement Systems guided us through the whole process from Tom our informative sales rep to Dave, our technical contact who facilitated the necessary information and plans to get our permit. Jorge and Fernando, his assistant, completed the site work and did first-class work—efficient, expert, and exceptional. Jorge answered all questions and thoroughly explained the process. Finishing the project in a timely way and clean-up evidenced pride in their work to us. We had quite a good rain a couple of days after installation and we are dry as a bone! Nothing like having it done right the first time. We highly recommend Basement Systems, USA for sure.

Installation delayed, started 2 days later than originally scheduled and was completed 4 days later due to unexpected circumstances. The production manager, Dave, was requested to my home to resolve conflicts with contract. Dave and his sales manager worked with me and were more than accommodating. Very pleased with work performed. Crews were friendly, informative and attentive.

Basement Systems USA sent out a crew led by a foreman named Esteban. The crew had to work both inside and outside of my home while I was working from home. The crew was extremely professional. They left NOTHING around, or inside, my home when they left and other than some noise I couldn't even tell they were there. I would recommend this company and this crew to anybody looking to have work done around their home.

Flawless from beginning to end! When finished, the installers cleaned my basement floor like it was their own! I really appreciated that.

The installation team was great. They were hard-working, courteous and highly skilled.

Overpaid for shoddy work. Electrical outlets are only on one side of room. Light switch is behind door in bathroom. Door to closet can not be opened. The wall material will barely hold a poster frame. Ceiling tiles were damaged. They taped electrical wires together behind the wallboards. This caused a fire from overheating two months later. Said they had a new job before they finished my "remodel". Horrible business.

From start to finish this company exceeded my expectations. The salesperson, Tim, who came out for the initial estimate was thorough and helpful. He explained everything I needed to know, answered all of my questions, and put absolutely NO pressure on me to make a decision. After I decided to go with Basement Systems USA, it was only about a day before they called to schedule the work. They were able to schedule the work for about a month from then. They completed the work in 2.5 days. They were sure to put down tarps for walking through my house and hauled out 100% of the debris from jack-hammering my concrete floors. I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish and highly recommend them!

From estimate to completion, I was very impressed with Basement Systems USA. The estimator happened to be the owner (Pete). While there certainly is a presentation as part of the estimate, I never felt pressured to buy. The tasks to fix the issues and the reason behind them were thoughtfully detailed and explained. The install went very well and I felt at ease with how the job was progressing mainly due the foreman, Larry Robinson. Larry was very personable and truly cared about making sure that I was a satisfied customer. When additional work was needed, he showed me exactly what the issue was and clearly defined what needed to be done. Again, I never felt that I was being pressured or sold something that I didn't need. As of 2 weeks later, I can say that I'm very pleased with the system that was installed.

We were referred by a friend who was also very happy with their company. They did an excellent job, arrived were on time and were very courteous and professional. Excellent company overall. We will definitely be calling them again when we are ready to refinish our basement!

I called and spoke to a real person-wow! Was well prepared for what seemed like a great start. So, now we would hear from a sales person. I received a call that afternoon from some guy named Jeff. Well, Jeff was very polite and asked if we wanted him to come out. Yes it was, and low and behold it was going to be our choice when and where. We said the next few days and Jeff says what day was free and then asked what time would be good for us Our day, our time and here comes Jeff – right on time, so here we go. Jeff knew the inside and outside of this business, he had been putting these in for a good many years- We took the tour, and sat down with some brochures of the product that they use and how and what they could do. He gave us what seemed like good info but we wanted to think about it, so we did not commit and told him we would call. We put it off for awhile and Jeff e-mailed me only once to make sure we knew he was still around. Never bothered us as we asked him not to call-we would call him. Got him back and went over our house again and went with most of his idea's. Not pushy at all. Here we go- Here comes a person named Sean to our front door. He told us who and where he was from and what his job was. We went down the stairs and looked over his work assignment, an I got he hek out of there. My wife and I moved and covered some of the basement "things". I went down when I heard the jack hammers, and when I got down the crew had everything else covered up. Sean was answering all my questions and telling me how and when they would be done. Well it turns out that Sean had something to add, good idea that installing a new drain would be better than using our old drain- seems all the downspouts were draining in the old pipe. They added that to the workload. Quite a good salesman. Next Sean said he and his crew were starting the walls. Sean asked what the future of the walls would be - lo and behold we were putting on wall covering that would have to be removed for our future projects. So, we decided to do it right the first time and change the plan. My first choice was the ThermaDry system, so after hearing what was going to be done, Sean said there was a nicer finished wall and it was called ZenWall, I looked at the ZenWall and said it was real nice so he got a price for the new product and that's what we got. It looks great. I just can't say enough about this crew. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! So now the word is out about Basement Systems USA

One of their reps came out to see it. I'm sure they have great products that they themselves have patented and that the job itself would have been done professionally. However we felt like we were dealing with a fast talking slick car salesman who criticized the competition and added extras onto the bill that we later determined unnecessary. (A qualified person come in to take a look at some of the stuff we were told needed to be done by Basement Systems USA alone, and that person confirmed our suspicions that it was a way to raise the price.) We chose another better rated company on Angie's List with a very similar to do list as BSUSA but at about half the price. Our preferred vendor offered the same guarantees, and were responsive without being pushy, they itemized our bill so we knew what each element cost. That company said, "we'd like to earn your business." BSUSA said, decide before Wednesday or the price will go up, the workmen are leaving your area and we won't be able to fit you in for the next month. At a price of $22k, we didn't feel we were ready to decide within a day or two. The company we went with itemized the bill so we could see where our money was going. For as long as the guy worked out the bill, BSUSA didn't itemize it, so we couldn't tell how much any individual part of it was. The pressure technique was off putting enough that even if money were no object, we still wouldn't go with this company. We just didn't trust them. They left a bad impression to the end. We interviewed three companies, once we decided on one, we emailed the other two to tell them our decision. The other company we ended up not going with, responded to our rejection with a very polite, email thanking us for our consideration and asking us to keep them in mind for other projects in the future. BSUSA sent no acknowledgement of our email, not that I expected them to. My suggestion is do the research on Angie's List, read all of the reviews to make sure they deal with your problem, and get several companies to come in tell you what they'd do and give you a price and then go with your gut as we did. And our gut told us not to use BSUSA.

Great lovly work

We called the professionals at Basement Systems USA after we saw our wall starting to crack from moisture. After much research for a company we found their information and plenty of wonderful reviews (all true). We called to set up an appointment and the gentleman Scott Beard we spoke to was extremely polite and very accommodating. He came out the next day. He was extremely through and was at the house two hours performing an extremely detailed review of the damage. Hi write up was very precise and specific and the estimate we received was fair and right on the money. He was just a very friendly and sociable person and we knew right away that we wanted to hire them for the job. We called him next day and he promptly sent the contract over. The contract was very straightforward and fair and the required deposit was very reasonable. I liked that they didn't expect full payment until the job was done, inspected and approved by all parties. As soon as the contract was signed and the down payment was confirmed they got our appointment set up with the foreman for him and his team to come out immediately. Sean Ryan and his crew were extremely professional, friendly and punctual. They showed up on time, laid plastic down to prevent tracking dirt in (we have carpeting), covered the furniture in the effected area and kept their equipment in one place to avoid clutter. The job was supposed to be done in one day but once they got behind the wall they found additional damage and black mold. Even though this was not part of the original problem (understandable since you can't predict what you will find behind the wall), they offered to eliminate the mold and make the additional necessary repairs. The price for the additional work was also very reasonable. Even better was that they said they would get everything done without having to make another appointment for the new project at a later date if they didn't mind them coming back the next day (Saturday). They worked until dark and got the majority of the work completed. As promised they came back on time the next day and finished the additional work promptly. They did a good job cleaning up and made sure we were happy with the work. The wall looks great (I want to do the whole basement like that now) and the sub pump is working great. We have had no more moisture or water damage. Needless to say we are happy with the final product and appreciate their professionalism and concern with our needs. They went above and beyond (especially by coming out on a weekend to fix an unexpected problem) to get the work done in a timely fashion and with great results. They also have electronic equipment (i.e. iPad) to print out paperwork and take payments which makes it easy if you don't like writing checks. Overall we are very satisfied with Sean Ryan and his crews work, Scott Beard's help in getting everything set up and the whole company for helping us solve our problem. We have already recommended them to my parents and would recommend them to anyone who needs assistance with their basement.
