Ocean Air Duct Cleaning

Outrageously unprofessional. I hired Hasan to clean the ducts at my rental. We agreed on a price and discussed another item which he said he couldn't do, but would take a look and possibly recommend someone. Hasan completed the work, I arrived to take a look and pay him. To my surprise, Hasan had completed the aforementioned extra work item we discussed (but never agreed on). He now demanded an outrageous amount, in cash. I explained to Hasan that I only brought him the agreed upon amount, and that I'm surprised he did the extra work without letting me know how much it's gonna cost. I communicated to Hasan if he sends me a bill I will take a look even though the work was unauthorized, I'd pay for it anyway because I'm happy it's completed. Hasan demanded cash payment, RIGHT NOW. Hasan threatened to follow me home to collect cash there. I informed him I will call the police if he follows me. He followed me, I called the police and there was a huge scene. I was with my 5 year old the whole time. There is a police report. Pros: Hasan arrived on time. Work appears to be quality, as far as I can tell. Terrible attitude and terrible communication skills hold him back.

My landlord paid the bill. They don?t necessarily keep to their appointment time and if they have to order a part, it can take an extraordinary long time to find that part. It took about 3 weeks, there was one person. 

The person who actually came out to do the work, was really professional, not invasive at all to what was going on around the rest of the house. Informative as far as to what he was doing and providing information. They could work on timeliness. Left the area like they found it. The best thing they did, I guess was the professionalism.  

Job was done well. It took longer than expected to complete, so the "extras" that the owner promised to perform gratis in the beginning somehow became billable in the end. That left a bad taste. It was a big job, 6 units, but he knew that in the beginning. Owner acted as if he had been scammed when he is the one who did the estimate! Probably won't use again because of attitude, not work performance.

The process took about 5 hours. Although pricey for a first time, it was worth the money. Went well over all.
