The electricians themselves were nice and courteous. However, I had to prod staff multiple times over several weeks to get the work scheduled. Also, the quality of the work that was done was not great - a piece of the wire molding installed was broken, exposing the wire, and the tracks were installed so that they are off kilter.

When they got here and did the job it was fine. We scheduled them for July 5th and waited all day and no one came. We called them up and they did not have an excuse. We rebooked if Friday the 7th and then they came. We have used them in the past and had good results, this is the first time they didn't show up when they were suppose to.

They were the most reasonable out of the three estimates I had, and they were the only ones who gave me a free estimate. They were here the whole day and did my entire condo. The guys were really nice and they tried to clean up behind themselves as much as they could. Even though it was wet outside they did their best not track things in, and they were out of here at a reasonable time.

Brandon was very professional and completed the job quickly. He did a terrific job with the old porch light that was attached to brick. He tested the lamp post connection even before starting any work to make sure there were not any issues, which would may have led to a different decision (like removing the post all together). He assembled the new fixtures and his work really gave our house an updated curb appeal. Brandon was very professional and respectful of our property. He also took away the old fixtures for disposal. STAY AWAY!!! It took 3 Kolb electricians 3 separate visits to determine the reason for a power outage in some of our rooms. The first electrician didn't correctly diagnose the issue, resulting in 2 follow up visits needed. The manger insisted that we had to pay for each visit. In fact, Joe argued that his 'professional staff' did us a favor by not spending longer at our home diagnosing the problem during the first visit, which would have resulted in additional hours billed. I would have preferred the first electrician 1) know what he was doing and 2) take another 10 minutes to correctly diagnose the issue rather than having to have the additional visits which spanned an additional week. The management was unprofessional and I am very unhappy with how he handled/dismissed my concerns over the phone.

I would like to add to my previous review of this company. I contracted for a whole house generator the beginning of August. Things did not go as smoothly as they should have, but once my install issues were brought to the attention of Tom, I can now say that the generator has been installed and is working perfectly. I am very happy with the response and attention I have been given to finish this job. I would recommend Kolb in the future.

The electrician sent on the job was polite and efficient and satisfactorily explained to me the cause and how it was repaired. Since I had not used an electrician in years, I did not compare costs, but felt it was fair for work completed
