This is a review of Green Future Construction and the work that they performed for me. For three weeks in July and August, their crew dismantled a stone retaining wall and rebuilt it using much of the same stone and replacing the stone that was weather worn. They also dismantled two pressure treated wood retaining walls and rebuilt them with stone to match the first wall. Their other work consisted of the repair of three other retaining walls that needed the top stones reset. Their work load was during the heat wave that was in the area during the hottest days of the Summer. One would think that this type of weather would deter them from performing at their best. They excelled at what they were able to accomplish. In fact, their upbeat attitude was a pleasure to witness. I didnâ t notice anything that wasnâ t done to high standards considering the conditions they were working under. They were always careful to clean up at the end of each day so while the area still looked like a construction zone, they made sure that any debris that accumulated during the day was picked up and bagged. After the project was completed, the grass areas that were worn from the foot traffic and vehicle use, were topsoiled and reseeded in an effort to bring my yard back to its natural look. The crew members on most days were Manuel, John, Oscar, and Santana. There were others who were there occasionally, specifically Freddie, who performed admirable work. I chose Green Future after having viewed another job in my neighborhood that they had worked on. I was impressed with what I saw plus their pricing was very competitive. I highly recommend using Green Future Construction and I hope your experience is as positive as mine.

We had a great experience working with Green Future. They built a back patio, walkway to the front of the house, and made some other improvements to improve drainage on our property. All of the work is extremely high quality, everyone is very professional and easy to work with, the project was done on time and on budget. We worked with Eli (sales manager) and Junior (project manager), who took the time to design a project that made sense for our property and our budget, made a number of suggestions and recommendations and were never pushy or tried to "sell" us on something. The crew really went above and beyond to provide top quality workmanship and overall we were in very good hands. Highly recommended!

Once again, Green Future Construction delivers! This is our second large project with Green Future working with Eli, Thomas and Junior. We enlarged the patio that GF built a few years ago and replaced the majority of the fence in our yard. As with last time, the work started on time, was finished quickly, cleaned up immaculately and everything looks amazing. We especially appreciate the attention to design details and the willingness to explain decisions to us in laymen's terms. We never had a single hiccup in either job. We highly recommend Green Future to anyone looking for beautiful design, flawless execution and complete satisfaction with the process and the results.

We had a great experience with Green Future, specifically my point of contact, John Kattwinkel. We had a large project and received excellent guidance every step of the way. Not only did we add an amazing patio to my yard, but we were able to address serious drainage and erosion problems plaguing our yard. John was very helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The showroom is beautiful and inspirational. John's design plan made the most of our space and incorporated some personality as well! The company has terrific resources and our project was completed quickly and efficiently. Moving forward we will definitely stick with Green Future when ready to remodel the deck.

Project manager John and his crews (including Roque and Peter) at Green Future Construction (GFC) turned our old ugly backyard into a beautiful patio space surrounded by staggered concrete block retaining walls and a Zen garden. The project involved creating a plan, choosing materials, and making adjustments as it gets executed. John explained every step to us and addressed all our questions along the process. Crews were very hardworking and maintained the site well organized along the way. While we chose concrete blocks rather than natural stones out of cost considerations, they are one of the most beautiful ones that we have seen. GFC is not the least expensive hardscaping company, but the result showed us why. The construction took more than 10 weeks, a lot longer than originally envisaged. This was in part because we, as owners, had a lot of questions about details, but I believe it also reflects that GFC manages several projects simultaneously in the same area and crews are in high demand. We were perfectly fine as we wanted attention to details rather than hurriedly finished work.

John Kattwinkel and his team provided an incredible customer experience! We replaced an aging deck and added some retaining walls and planting areas. John listened closely to what we liked and didn't like about our existing structures and came back with a design that we loved. Osman and his team did a wonderful job on the deck. The attention to detail and the craftsmanship were evident evident throughout the construction. Roque and the masonry team showed the same attention to detail and craftsmanship on the hardscape. The crews were very professional and friendly and very patient in answering our questions. John was very attentive throughout the process, often checking on the progress and ensuring that we understood and were happy with everything. He answered all our questions and was very easy to work with. We went with Green Futures, over three competing bids, based on the quality of the design that John came up with. We will go back to Green Futures for additional projects because the overall quality, professionalism, and friendliness was exceptional.

We had two projects we wanted done â deck and paver patio. We received onsite visits from four different companies, three of which submitted bids for the work. From the time that John K. walked on site, we knew we were working with a different type of company. He spent time to walk through property grading, drainage and helped us customize a deck and patio solution that fit our classic/modern profile and budget. Next he took us on site to a local stone distributor to ensure we were happy with our choices of stone and other materials to be used on the project. John worked with us throughout the design process making several changes along the way to ensure we understood what we were getting, and that his designs fit our needs. John made several suggestions that added additional touches to the project, and surprising did not add to the expense. The end design was more than we had imagined for the space. John introduced us to the project manager, Thomas, who in turn introduced the foremen for the stone work (Rocque) and deck build (Ozman). The deck work started first and Ozman and his team were relentless in their work. The deck was built in less than 2 weeks from ground breaking and would have been done sooner if not for some substantial storms. From excavation to finishing touches they moved quickly while providing high quality craftsmanship. When finished, they left our yard and more importantly, our brand new Trex deck in great condition. We LOVE it! Next John scheduled our patio install. The product arrived on site a couple days before the crew arrived. Once on site they worked quickly excavating the site and moving the excess material to a location of our choosing. The bulk of their time was spent on the fine details beneath the surface which will make a difference for years to come. Rocque and his team are artists with a stone saw. They cut precise circular patterns with ease, and made some tough design elements seem easy. They finished the patio off with matching poly sand and the end result made us want to use the space immediately. We are now about 3 months post closing and have recommended John and his team to several of our friends & neighbors. We feel like the deck and patio are what makes our back yard and have already gotten significant use out of them over this season. John and his team have stopped by to make sure we are still happy with the results and check in on any punch list items â which were few and far between. If you are in the market for a new deck or patio, donâ t hesitate to call these guys. They were the best combination of craftsmanship and price we could find, and delivered beyond our expectations. We would like to take an opportunity to provide feedback concerning our experience at Green Future Construction. We initially met with Mr. John Kattwinkel in early June to discuss our goals for improvement and curve appeal of the exterior of our home by adding a retaining wall. We compared competitive estimates, but we decided to go with GFC for several reasons. John was very professional, but stood out among the rest of the companies because of his passion for his work. Itâ s not just a job to John, he is a perfectionist and we appreciate his strong work ethic for fine detail. John is a â people personâ , he is very welcoming and he understands the needs of the homeowner; he is always readily available to answer multiple questions we posed, all with charm, patience and understanding. Most importantly, John listened to our needs and was very accommodating to our concerns, offering suggestions along the entire process. John is definitely a true artist and we loved the design proposal. The hardscaping crew is phenomenal and we are so pleased with the results. Itâ s your home, but GFC treats your home as if â itâ s their home tooâ ! Considerable effort is made to collaborate and educate the homeowner during this process. Itâ s the extra steps and the attention to detail that sets this company apart from all the rest. We love the retaining wall, the craftsmanship is top notch and beyond our expectations. Of the 5 contractors I talked with, Anthony was the only who gave me a written estimate. The crew did two major jobs for me. One was the entire removal of the roots and stumps of a large bamboo grove and grading/grass of the land. The second was the clearing of stones and vines, and terracing of a steep hill. They added plants and mulch, moved azaleas and took down some trees. I can recommend them highly. I will contact them again for future work.

We worked with Green Future Construction, Landscaping and Tree Specialists for a comprehensive backyard project that included tree removal, full re-grading and sodding, fencing, and perimeter landscaping. John did a great job working with us to build a plan, and Thomas was on-point to make sure it was executed. Both John and Thomas were responsive to email, text, and phone calls - and they always made themselves available to answer questions without any problem. The team also worked very hard, were extremely friendly and attentive to details, and their craftsmanship was first-rate. The project was also very fairly priced, and they never tried to get us to do more just to spend more money - always presenting the best options within our budget. We would most definitely (and likely will) work with Green Future again.

Nearly 2 years ago, we planned to hire a landscaper for a couple of projects which included a custom horizontal style fence and a retaining wall spanning a large perimeter section of our lob-sided backyard. I came across Green Future Construction at that time. The owner Ilie came to our home and provided an estimate within 24 hours. I immediately noticed something different about him than the other landscaping companies I was interviewing. He didn't use sensationalist salesmanship tactics, try to upsell me on features I wasn't interested in, nor did he quiver at the sight of a custom horizontal fence picture I showed him off the internet. He very confidently stated "Yes, we can build that for you". We did not hire them right away because we didnâ t want to rush in without obtaining competitive estimates. Many other fence companies we met with seemed timid about taking on the project because the fence was too customized, required â advanced carpentry skillsâ their installers lacked, and just wasnâ t a job they could bang out in a day and be on their way. While we were able to find one or two landscape â architecturalâ firms that were capable and willing to deliver a solution, their pricing was way over-architected. I reached out to Ilie again and despite my lack of response to his initial proposal from 2 years ago, he immediately replied and was back onsite the next day. We went over the original estimate and modified some details including a custom pergola over the fence entry gates and within days we were ready to roll! His staff showed up on time every day and we discussed the minute details and every aspect of the project as it was progressing. Ilie, and or Iuri our assigned the project manager were onsite every day to oversee the project and convey any small changes to the carpenters and stone masons. Long story short, the end-result was more than we could have possibly imagined! IMO, both the fence and retaining walls could easily be featured in a landscaping magazine! That custom pergola over the entry gates tooâ ¦ NAILED IT! I thought the final product might look somewhat similar to what we envisioned, but nothing to this degree. Green Future Construction took our vision and literally brought it to life. No only that, they delivered expert craftsmanship with honest and fair pricing that didnâ t make us feel like we were being taken for a ride. If itâ s not obvious by now, I would highly recommend Green Future Construction and without a doubt, we will 100% hire Green Future Construction exclusively for all our future landscaping needs, not only for their value, professionalism, reliability, honesty, and trustworthiness to do business with, but their entire staff are also incredibly friendly and willing to do whatever it takes to make clients happy, so long is clients themselves are reasonable of course. We are already planning and looking forward to the next phase of landscaping projects with Green Future. BIG thanks Ilie, Iuri, Jose, and the whole crew at Green Future Construction.

8 week project took 6 months to complete. Joey (salesman) was excellent. Unfortunately the company does not support him. There were some materials delays beyond their control but there were many days / weeks where the materials sat in the driveway and no one showed up to work. Final product came out OK but it took a lot of rework and time to complete.

I highly recommend Green Future!!! I had an amazingly positive experience with them. Project Summary: Waterfront location. Demolition and removal of existing retaining walls and upper patio area. Design and install new retaining walls and patio area with sitting wall lighting and tree up-lighting. Green Future built a deck for my house and performed some landscaping to address minor drainage issues. The initial bid (for a deck built using Trex materials) was comparable to what several other vendors were quoting for pressure-treated wood that would have required more maintenance. The work was completed within one week of the start date, and the company sent someone out in a timely fashion to address a few minor cleanup issues after the fact. The deck looks great, and I would definitely hire this company again.

This past spring, I bought a 45-year old house that needed serious updating --- paint, flooring, plumbing, electrical, kitchen and appliances as well as garage & driveway. In addition, the landscaping in the back, the deck and the front porch and walkway all needed updating/replacement. For this outside work, I looked through local ads as well as the ratings in the Best of Annapolis magazine and chose Green Future as one of the contractors to bid on my project. The estimating team at Green Future contacted me immediately, set up an appointment to see the house and we met that same week. This was in sharp contrast to the other contractors that I had to track down and repeatedly pester to get them to come out to look at my job. I also found that few other contractors would take on the whole of my project. That, in itself, narrowed the field for me --- I wanted a one-stop solution for my outside work. After I received my detailed quote and drawing from Green Futures (other contractors didnâ t submit drawing) I reviewed with my estimator, and finalized the details and pricing. No other contractor provided as much detail or accessibility in the bid process as Green Future. I signed them up and we set a start date for the work. I could not be happier with the job they did for me in all phases of the project --- decking, masonry work and landscaping (hardscape, drainage work, as well as plantings/mulch). These are the reasons that I would recommend Green Future to anyone, and why they will handle all my landscaping needs going forward: 1) The job was performed exactly in conformance with the agreed spec. 2) The workmanship was first rate and the project ended up looking even better than I had imagined. Thomas Bailey, my management contact at Green Future, and his teams were perfectionists. They were not happy until I was happy. 3) The workers were NEAT -- the work areas were cleaned and straightened each evening before they left. 4) All elements of the permitting and inspection process were handled (and chased down with a slow County permitting office) by Green Future. 5) The communication with Green Future throughout the project was excellent. Again, Thomas Bailey went above and beyond on this score. He communicated with me nearly every day, checking my satisfaction with what had been done and letting me know what was to take place next and when. Of all the contractor personnel I have dealt with at my house over the past 6 months (and there have been many), Thomas was by far the most communicative --- and he did exactly what he said heâ d do WHEN he said heâ d do it. I can tell you that that level of customer attention is a rare commodity today in dealing with contractors. 6) Thomas also did a final walkthrough of the complete job with me, pointed out things I should be aware of about the ongoing maintenance of my landscaping and let me know that he would respond personally if I found any issues with anything on my job. I believe him --- but so far, everything looks perfect to me. Could I have gotten the work done more cheaply? Yes --- maybe 10-15%. However, I am confident that it would not have been done as well, as â hassle-freeâ or with the level of service and communication throughout that I experienced with Green Future. I also would have been dealing with at least two and maybe three separate contractors to get everything done for less. I made the right decision --- Green Future was a great value overall --- and the results are beautiful. I have already received many compliments from my neighbors on the work. This company, and Thomas Bailey especially, get my highest praise and recommendation --- they get five stars on all elements of our interaction. One would be hard pressed to find a better full-service landscaper than Green Future.
