I was not at the house when the work was done however, it appears they did a good job. Clean up was excellent.

Completed the job in one day going into the dark! Very easy to deal with!

The roof installation was fine. In December we decided to add more attic insulation and the contractor pointed out that the ridge vent was blocked by the ridge beam on one part of the roof. Columbia Roofing was called back and they agreed the ridge vent would not work on that part of the roof. They proposed several alternatives and we choose roof ventilators. They came back in January, removed the ridge vent and installed ventilators. We are very pleased that they readily corrected the error at no cost to us.

I had a roof leak which was leaking into the ceiling at the edge of the sunroom causing a stain on the ceiling and some damage to the wall. Two workers arrived at the planned time. They gave me an estimate and then completed the work described above. After a few more rains, it was apparent that the fix hadn't completely stopped the leak, so they returned, added a partial rubber sheet under the tiles and that did the trick. No additional charge was made for the 2nd trip. The workers showed interest in thir work and did a great job. I would hire them again.

The estimator was professional and friendly, answering all my questions and visiting the house from time to time to see the progression of work and to see if I had any questions. It was a stress free repair work experience. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I first contacted this company using there website to arrange a roofing estimate. After two weeks of no response, I called and scheduled a appointment for an estimator to come out on a Wednesday. The estimator arrived on time and did a thorough job. However I informed the office I needed the estimate no later then that Friday. Friday came and went and no estimate. The estimate arrived two weeks later after I had made my decision for the roofing company.

The installation crew was on-time and performed the work entirely on schedule. We were very satisfied with the quality of work and professionalism of the cred. Recently we had some dripping in one of the skylights. They came out quickly, replaced several tiles even though they did not appear compromised. They were not the cheapest but they were very good and I would recommend their work,

George gave us an estimate comparable to another roofing company and later agreed to a 5% senior discount offered on Angie's List. Someone called about a week later to give a date for delivery of materials and installation. They replaced our roof in one day and cleaned up very well. About three days later (ahead of schedule) our old gutters were replacced. The gutter crew did not clean up as well as the roofing crew. They left quite a few brackets and nails in the planting beds. Overall, it was still a good experience.

Company was responsive and provided a detailed accurate estimate before the work. Quality of work was excellent. Price was fair. There probably were some less expensive companies out there but this company had done great work for me before.

A mostly-satisfying experience. George Christopolis arrived on schedule to provide a quote. He surveyed the entire exterior roof surface and crawled through attic spaces to observe the condition of the interior surfaces. We had a discussion regarding the work that I wished to have completed and he followed-up with a detailed quote which included unit prices for replacing additional decking plywood, fascia, etc. George was one of the few contractors that actually honored my request for the unit prices. The evening prior to the scheduled start of work a gentleman arrived with a disposal truck and we worked together in order to determine the best spot on the property to park it so that they could easily fill it with debris but it was out of the way of foot traffic and didn't damage any property. The following morning a work crew arrived on time and immediately started working. They worked diligently throughout the day and late into the evening. Over the course of the 13-hour work day they took one hour-long break at noon and a very brief break at 4:00. I spent the majority of the day on the roof with the crew monitoring their progress. Their work was nearly flawless and, despite the language barrier, they were extremely courteous. A few unforeseen conditions were discovered at which time they were brought to my attention, I was told how the contractor planned to address them, and then work progressed with little hesitation. At one point a PVC vent pipe was damaged. The gentleman that damaged the pipe apologized, repaired the pipe, verified that I was satisfied with the fix, and then proceeded to work on the roofing replacement. When the work was completed, well after the sun had set, the crew cleaned up very thoroughly. Only a few nails were left behind in densely planted flowerbeds. The following day another work crew arrived to install the EPDM roofing. That process also went very smoothly. Later that day a company representative arrived for the final inspection at which time I pointed out that the re-installation of a portion of the siding (required in order to replace flashing) appeared to be haphazard and that the guy wires serving a flue had not been reinstalled. The representative informed me that he felt the siding looked like it did prior to the work and then he proceeded to install the guy wires in a haphazard manner (they ultimately pulled free from the roof shortly thereafter). It was a disappointing way to end the project. The total cost of work was only 2% above the quoted price.

We located Columbia Roofing on Angie's List and called them to check our roof to see if there were any damage after the hard winter storms. Our roof is only nine years old so they sent a repair crew to look it over. The person who checked it out took pictures and told us specifically which areas needed repair. The office called to schedule the work. Days of rain caused a delay to the original schedule, but we were notified in advance and rescheduled timely. The repair took place on time and there were no surprises. There is no way we will go up on the roof so it's good to have confidence in the company making the evaluation and repair.

These two guys worked non stop for three days - one to strip old shingles - two to put on new. On time - professional - worked as a team - friendly and neat. This price was significantly lower than other two estimates - but quality work. The other team I had for other work were good -but overstaffed - therefore more expensive. I will be calling them for more jobs I have in mind.

Called to get estimate for a roof leak. They came on time and seemed to thoroughly examine the roof and the attic. Ultimately, they discovered it wasn't a roof leak, but an attic pipe with a crack.

They did a good job. They came when the were supposed to. The price was exactly what they told me it would be. I would use them in the future.

They were a good company and we were happy with their quality of work. We also were happy with their promptness and professionalism. They are not the cheapest in terms of price. We have used them twice and would use them for such jobs.

They did a fine, professional job on the roof and I haven't had any problems with it since. I like that I didn't have to babysit them while they were here. I got extra-large gutters to help with the water running over.

Since we have had heavy rains and the roof has not leaked, I would say they did a great job! They repaired poor workmanship done by Exterior Solutions who charged $125. and didn't fix the leak then didn't return my call for return service until one week later. Columbia Roofing came out the day we called within two hours they were on the roof, that?s service!! Would recommend and use them again.

The man who provided the estimate was cross-eyed, but the interesting thing was that he could point out problems with the roof that I would never have noticed. He was very professional, kind of a type A personality. He really knew what he was doing and was very clear in explaining things to me. He showed a lot of initiative and seemed more competent than the other men who came from different companies to give their estimates. The estimate he gave was one of the lowest. And when he gave me the estimate, he asked me if I was planning on using his company. When I said that yes I was because the estimate was one of the best, he went right out on the roof and put a patch on it so that until they came to do the actual repair the roof wouldn't leak anymore. I really appreciated that he offered to do that when the other companies didn't even mention it. He was very thorough and very competent. I was very pleased with the work they did.

Arrived right on time. When I came home it was dark outside & the crew was finishing up their clean-up. Needless to say, the clean up was incomplete because they ran out of daylight. I had to call the next day to request further clean up , and asked them to re-do the shingles on the chimney, which looked sloppy. They came promptly to correct these problems. They also came quickly to re-secure a shingle which had lifted up due to a "nail pop." All in all they were very responsive and polite. Unfortunately the shingle color that I wanted was not readily available & I used a lighter shade, which I now wish I hadn't used. I would have liked a little more guidance on that decision. However, I would recommend this company & would use them again for future projects.

They were straight to the point. They came in, told me what needed to be done and did the work quickly. I would definitely recommend them.

It went very well. They performed the repairs as agreed. One vent stack continued to leak and they returned a second time and fixed it. Their response to the call back was quick; few roofers will even do these minor repairs.

It was very positive experience. He was one of the first estimators to spend time answering all of our questions. We were impressed that he spent a lot of time with us including looking inside the attic and explaining our options. However, the follow-through was poor because they had to work with an abatement company in order to remove the shingles but the abatement company never contacted us as Columbia Roofing had promised. Columbia never followed up with us.

I was very interested in using these folks because they had been recommended by the manufacturer of the siding I wanted, Hardie cement fiberboard, and their office is relatively close by. The estimator (Billy) came out on the day arranged, received a detailed list from me of the work to be done, and spent some time taking measurements. It is now three weeks later and despite 3 phone calls, I never received an estimate. I was very disappointed.

The estimator arrived promptly and seemed professional and knowledgeable. However, we were extremely disappointed that they did not follow through with submitting an estimate as they promised.

It went excellent. Everything went according to plan. They had to replace the shingle roof. They couldn't repair the old roof. The old roof was made from was inferior to the new stuff so we replaced it. There was one place on the roof that that was leaking after work was done and I called them and they came right over a fixed it and we have had no problems since.
