Excellent work. They removed our old DirecTV dish that we were no longer using and disposed of it for us. They tore off the old roof and installed a new one, including vents, all in one day. The crew walked around with a metal detector and made sure to clean up every single scrap out of the yard and driveway. Our property was spotless when they left! The roof looks fantastic. I was happy to hear that our warranty is transferable, as we do plan to sell this house in a few years. I would highly recommend Columbia Roofing in the future, and if we need a new roof when we buy our new house, I will definitely be calling Columbia Roofing.

From my first call to the end of the service, everyone at Columbia that I spoke to was nothing but courteous and professional. Because of an upcoming architectural control committee meeting deadline that we were trying to meet in order to get the new roof on ASAP, George made a special trip out to the house on a rainy/stormy Friday, very late afternoon, in order to drop off samples for us. The men who actually did the work on the roof were professional and friendly and introduced themselves to me as I left for the office. All surrounding landscaping was covered prior to the tear off and they were cleaning up when I returned home that evening. The site was spotless when they left. We'd had three other bids, each a few hundred dollars apart, Columbia being about in the middle; I made the choice to go with Columbia b/c I prefer to work with business persons who run their company in a courteous and professional manner and it was clear that Columbia far exceeded the professionalism shown by the other companies. They also do siding so we will definitely contact them in the future for that service. Well done, Columbia Roofing!

The work went very well and all work was completed. The worked was delayed due to the weather conditions. The foreman and the crew completed the work , while I was working but left all the bad slate for me to what exactly was removed. He later picked up.

Three crews did the work. All were professional, courteous, thorough, and took the time to go over all the work performed at the end of the day. Communications, some additional work, and resolution of one minor problem were quick and efficient. We recommend this contractor for any exterior work. Outstanding workmanship, and quality products at a good price. 07/19/13 - Wanted to update the scoring on the price. While the price on the roof was not the lowest estiamte we received, theprice for the total job: roof, guttesrs, sofits, leaf guard, wrapping trim) -- was the best of four different estimates.

This was a great transaction for us. We were initially told by 1 contractor that we need our roof replaced. I voiced my concern that we weren't really ready (financially) to do the whole roof right now. George took a look and said he thought if we did just some repairs that we can last at least another year, possibly more. I really appreciated that. I liked that it wasn't a 'hard-sell' and the work was done perfectly. Everyonewas on time and professional.

Was replacing a 21 year old original roof that was not yet leaking but had lost shingles in several storms. They came out an did a thorough inspection and provided a reasonable estimate. After I accepted the estimate and paid the deposit the work was scheduled. Ended up being delayed a day because of rainy weather - crew showed up on time and completed the job that day. Clean up was excellent - no debris left.

The job went well and I was surprised how fast this work was performed.

They had a difficult time finding the same color tile as my original roof, but they found a color close to the original. I’m extremely pleased with the outcome!

I had two prevous contractors out to solve the a problem, but what they tried did not work. With leaks, there are no guarantees. Billy from Columbia Roofing came out and immediately told me what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. I went with his price (which was higher than the previous two contractors), and when they were done the problem was solved. They arrived on time, worked all the time, and cleaned up after the job was done. I am having them do some repair work for damage from Sandy this month.

Mike from Columbia Roofing was very punctual and professional. Sent me the quote and contract the very next day and was very prompt in answering all questions. His staff did a great job and was very considerate in keeping things neat and clean. (wore plastic booties when they had to enter the house.) Survived Hurricane Sandy without a single leak from their work. Very happy with their services and will recommend to anyone looking for roofing work. :)

They were on time for 8 AM appointment. They were professional and the price did not differ from the estimate. They gave the estimate and performed the work the same day.

The job was scheduled in 3 stages. The removal of the roof, insulation, replacement of plywood and new shingles, et al were step one, siding replacement was step 2, and gutters were step 3. I was notified a week ahead of the installtion schedule, and told in what order and on what day each step would be done. In addition, the estimator had gone over each step in detail, explaining what would be done and how it would be done. He left us with instructions on how to prepare (remove items from patio, put a note on any plants to receive special care), and I found the instructions to be very helpful. During installation of step 1, the foreman introduced himself and asked if we had any concerns, a very nice touch. Plywood which had to be replaced was discussed at the time it was inspected, so we felt included in what was happening, not just handed a bill at the end of the job. The remaining steps went just as well. Everyone we interacted with was courteous and professional.

The work was completed in one day with all materials and debris cleaned up and removed with the landscape and site left spotless.

Initial call and appointment setup was great. I was lucking to get a cancelled appt and have someone come to my home within 2 days. Initial "show up" fee was high in my opinion but the service and repair of my vent stack collar was worth the money. They found the source of the leak and repaired a second vent stack to prevent that one from leaking in the future. A previous roofer used plastic collars that warped and allowed water to pass. Columbia Roofing replaced them with metal collars.

They called to tell us that material would be delivered on the 11th and that they would start work the nest day (12th). They arrived at 7 a.m. and started work shortly thereafter. It all seemed to go smoothly, and they obviously knew what they were doing. The team worked well together ( I figured they had been together for a while which was confirmed by the supervisor). The supervisor confirmed that they would have to replace one piece of plywood (from previous damage by Hurricane Isobel) at a modest charge of $50. They finished around 6 p.m. and left our property clean from the junk which had been spread around. Overall I think the job went more smoothly than I had anticipated, the quality of the work was top-notch, I saw no cost cutting and thus it was a very satisfactory job. I would recommend them to others.

I was extremely pleased with this company. My rep was George, and he went way above and beyond what one could expect. He came out to our home several times to answer questions and go over things when he sensed we had additional questions or concerns. (Getting a new roof, after all, is a big deal.) I thought he was very honest and fair, and he also threw in some extra service! The work team arrived exactly at the appointed time and finished the job in one day. Clean-up was excellent; the whole thing went seamlessly and I couldn't have asked for a better company or experience.

Columbia Roofing performed a fast, friendly and expert repair on my roof. I am selling my home and needed repairsf to fulfill a home inspection requirement. The plywood decking around the chimney was sagging and probably water damaged because of improper installation by another roofer 10 years ago. I called for an estimate and someone came out within a couple days. He also found the plumbing vents were improperly installed by the original roofer and found a hole in the metal roof over my bay window. The price quoted was actually a little less than I expected even without the additional repairs. Once I signed the work order, the repair was scheduled in only 2 days. The day before the work date, I got a call they needed to reschedule to two days later because rain was in the forecast. The work was done as expected and the roof is beautiful. The office staff was very professional, friendly, and a delight to talk to. By comparison, I called the original roofer for a quote. He said he would have to replace all the shingles on the back side of the house as well as the ridge vent. No mention of the plumbing vents. The quote was 3 times the price! Columbia Roofing did only what was needed and suggested other repairs to keep my roof in good condition. When I need work done on my new home, I will put my trust in Columbia Roofing..

I used them about 4 months ago to repair a gap in my roof and they didn't charge me to fix it. I give them an A rating and I will use them again.

My sister had a roof put on. It had a leak and one of the owners came out and fixed the roof and gave a $800 refund because it didn't take as long as he thought it would.

Two other companies attempted to repair the same leaks without success. Knock on wood, so far so good with their repair. They were punctual (once I got an appointment; they were very busy), were neat, and did a complete fix. I asked for and was mailed photos they took during the procedure which I appreciated.

Overall it went well. The two guys were friendly and knowledgeable. My townhouse is tall and narrow (4 stories tall) but that was not an issue for them. They also noticed some sealant around some vent stacks on the roof that was developing some cracks and fixed that as well for me. The final price was reasonably close to the original verbal, eyeballed estimate that I was originally given when they first guy came out to give me said estimate. The new trim looks good...I am happy with their work.

They found the problem and did exactly what was needed to take care of it. I felt like I was robbing someone because they charged me so little for the job. It's unheard of that you get a roofer to come out for $300 some bucks. The only possibly negative thing I could say is that it took them a few weeks to come out here, but that simply means they are good at what they do and are in high demand. I would not call anyone else in the future. They are the only ones!
