South River Flooring

I wish I had never walked in this store. I ordered carpeting to cover the floors in the majority of the 2 bedroom condo I had just purchased. After the installation I noticed issues and contacted the store. I was told that the carpet fibers needed to stretch and expand and to wait a few weeks. After I waited a few weeks things looked worse not better. I again contacted the store. After that I lost count of how many emails I sent back and forth. One seam was left with a noticeable gap were the carpet was spliced together. And there was a noticeable difference in shading between segments that were also spliced together. I had to send photos twice because the first set were ‘lost’. After a lot of back and forth, finally the store arranged for a partial refund from the manufacturer that amounted to about 20% of the purchase price. Although the store did the faulty install and sold me the faulty carpets, they offered no monetary compensation from their end. I thought about pursuing a full replacement but given how difficult and time consuming getting that agreement of the 20% partial refund was, I decided life is too short. But I certainly would not recommend this store to anyone.

We were preparing to sell our house and wanted to insure that everything was in and quot;tip topand quot; condition. We contacted South River Flooring and they promptly came out and gave us an estimate. Dale Sr. spent a great deal of time matching the bathroom floor tile to the existing shower tile. They worked with our holiday schedule, installing the carpet after Christmas and starting the tile work after New Year's when our house guests departed. Joel did an excellent job in installing the carpet, a seamless carpeted area from the rec room through to the bedroom. The tile work was the most extensive part of the project. Dale Jr. explained how the work would progress and all went according to plan. Dale Jr. and his assistant Mario were courteous and professional. They kept the work area clean, and even dusted the adjoining bedroom after the initial tile demolition. The floor looks beautiful, and the warm floor is a joy to walk on. They noticed a few additional items which needed attending to, and took care of them without hesitation. They replaced some grout in our 24 year old back hall tiled floor, touched up grout on the master bath vanity area, and replaced the thresh hold between the back hall tile and the hardwood floor in the kitchen. We would not hesitate to recommend South River Flooring.
