Don was very courteous. I provided the equipment so Don provided the labor.  He did include a new cable and added two additional bolts to the gable mount which provided additional strength.  Thought that was a very good idea.  He called prior to coming to confirm the time he would arrive.  He actually came twice.  The first time it was rainy so not a good time to go up on the roof.  But he did check out the equipment I wanted put up to make sure nothing else was needed and how everything would go up.  The second time he came it was very cold, but he got up on the roof and into the attic to hook everything up.  He made sure all stations came in over the TV's before leaving.   He answered all my questions and concerns and tucked all the wires out of eyesight.  Overall a good job.

He talked to us about not doing much residential work any more, but he came anyway. It was a good overall experience. He didn't charge a lot of money either.

Don (of Harbor Lights) called about 9am to report that he was stuck in traffic near Baltimore's Ft. McHenry Tunnel and regretted that he would be late.. He arrived before 10am to begin the process of replacing an antenna that had recently been installed by Sat-Com Technology; Sat-Com's installation had significantly degraded our reception from the 40 year old antenna it replaced. Don had assessed reception in our area before he arrived and began a series of steps to test various configurations of amplifiers with the antenna he had chosen for us. After many trips to the roof and our basement he left us with reception that was better than with our original antenna! We are delighted to get reception from distant transmitters in Washington, D.C. and strong reliable signals from Baltimore. We are delighted to now have access to a wide spectrum of tv programs. ion

The reception on my HD radios has significantly improved. Don was great and even took down my old FM antennas that were too high for me to reach without a ladder. The sound quality on the system is now incredible and I am receiving many more stations than before. It took a while to schedule the installation but it was well worth the wait. I now know who to call if I ever need another antenna.

I purchased a HDTV for my wife’s office and attempted to install the new antenna in the attic. I called five antenna installation companies as I found it difficult to maneuver within the attic and no antenna outlet existed in the room. The telephone at two companies was disconnected; one company did not respond; and another wanted $500 for the antenna plus travel/installation charges! The representative stated that it needed a “special” antenna to pick up the new HDTV signal. The fifth company was Harbor Lights Antenna, Inc., and the representative thought my existing antenna in the attic would be sufficient for the new HDTV. The installer showed up on-time. In less than two hours, the installer had determined that the existing antenna was sufficient, a signal booster was not needed, completed the wiring through the attic to the office for the antenna outlet, and charged less than $200. The installer’s knowledge, quality of service, and the price were all outstanding. I highly recommend this company.
