Ruby's Cleaning Service

We hired Ruby to fully clean our new home, prior to us moving in. House was empty. We agreed on a price, level of services and a date. We were not there at the time of the cleaning which was done on the agreed day and I paid that same day. Upon close examination after the cleaning, we found many instances of agreed-upon cleaning not having been done or done poorly. There were two frigs - only one was cleaned and the other really needed it but was skipped. Toilet bowls were cleaned but the exteriors were either not done or poorly done. Cooktop controls were greasy, incomplete drawer and cabinet cleaning, lack of cleaning behind doors to some rooms, kickplates were not cleaned, etc. I contacted Ruby about these issues 10 days after the cleaning and got no response. After a couple weeks, I called her, explained the issues and she offered a free cleaning. Because of remodeling being done, we could not take her up on the offer at that time. When I contacted her in early December, she said she could do the free cleaning in January which I said was fine. I waited and heard nothing more from her. I emailed her and sent the same info to her using her web page's "contact us" form. Still nothing. Mid-January, I emailed her that the cleaning would need to be scheduled and completed by January 26 to avoid having a negative review posted here. There has been no response nor any cleaning so here is the negative review.

Ruby was very flexible, professional, and affordable. Took pictures of job done as we were long distance and then was later able to see the job in person. Was able to talk, email, text - Great communication. Sent formal easy online payments with invoice that made life easier!

Let's just say that it was far less than expected and a very waste of money

The cleaning went well. Ruby and her associate arrived when agreed upon. They were ready to go to work and did. They did a thorough cleaning, even cleaning areas we were not used to having cleaners do. They were fast and very efficient. At the end, Ruby asked for us to look over the work done and let her know our thoughts. We were already impressed with their professionalism and the job they were doing. Before they had even finished, we had asked them to return on a regular basis. We were very happy with Ruby and the work they did.

Satisfied with overall job. Will be using services again. Would recommend for hire.

Ruby's is very accommodating. They do a good job cleaning and are very wiling to change dates or do any extra tasks that we ask.

The team was very friendly and cheery. They did a great job and left my house spotless! I am now a biweekly client and highly recommend them to anyone looking for help cleaning their home.
