They provider advertised on their website that they can clear roof vents and when I called I was directed to the owner to confirmed that they have done this in the past. I had other plumbers who were not able to do it and admitted they cannot provide this service.

This company took on the task, which they advertise they provide, and sent a plumber the same day. They plumber could not access the vent stack, stayed only 30 minutes, and charged $265.

This was very deceptive and they billed for a service they did not have the knowledge to ability to do.

We ended up not using his company because I felt that the he was trying to take advantage of my situation and take me to the cleaners price wise. I just felt that he was giving us very poor service.

When Ray arrived (early- he called and asked if I minded he came an hour early) he already knew that the plumbing was rehabbed in 2006 and where the water meter and water main shut off were . He must have looked up the permits online with county. He went directly to the interior shut off valve in the basement. There was only a 18 inch square to access the sewer clean out and water shutoff valve. He could not get a good look so he took out his smart phone and took flash pictures inside the wall. That was very clever of him.
There was not a traditional interior shut off valve but two small valves that when closed shut the water down to a small stream but not totally off. It turns out it was just partway open. He opened the valve all the way and the problem was solved. He then advised me that because of the bizarre situation that if ever I needed an emergency water shut off I must use the main shut off outside at the meter. He went through the entire process, what everything looked like and how it worked.
After all that he just charged me a service call fee of $60.00...
I had my grandniece with me so we talked about his new grandson, our families, church etc. He showed me pictures of his recent trip and more. Someone on here said they couldn't wait for the man to leave. The man who wrote that must be a horses behind because I hated to see the man leave.

Ray was as helpful and knowledge about the issues I was facing as anyone could want. He sent out the lads who would do the work, and they took pictures, which they emailed him while I was standing there. He gave me three options to deal with an elderly galvanized steel pipe that had a great deal of sediment in it. The first option was a water filter. Second was a main with shark bite tubing, third was a main with cooper. And, of course, there were three different pricing structures. We made the decision for the second and he took the first third as a credit card payment over the phone and scheduled us for four business days later. They came out on Wednesday to do the set up, and the back hoe and the crew came on Thursday to complete the work. In the course of digging the whole they found an old clean out for my septic line that had become detached and been buried underground. The reattached the clean out and made it right at no extra charge. Finally, the filled the whole and tamped in down so there was no mound of dirt that would never go away. They also put the dirt on plywood so it wouldn't mess up the lawn. They even replanted the privet hedge they dug up. An excellent job. I would highly recommend.

Be aware, do your own investigating, don't take the states word.  It ended up ripping me off.  The state gave me a list of contractors, and I picked these guys and it was really bad. I'm just barely making it, and I don't have any money to have anyone come in and fix the work.  He won't even answer his phone now, and he just tells me "I can't help you."  I would never use them again.

It went great. The price was fair, the job looked professionally done, and instructions for maintenance of the sytem were clear. Mr. Stefanski also made it clear that I could call if I had any questions. I will certainly use them in the future.

Later, I called him to replace a valve in the shower. He told me on the phone that it could not be replaced but instead a new shower line with new faucet and shower surround were best. I asked him to look at the valves. He visited and then called me saying the new lines and surround would be $2500.00 I call Mitchell Plumbing who repacked the shower valves $85.00,

We called Stefanski's upon seeing water int he basement. They cleaned out the main line and put a tiny camera through our pipes. There were cracks and roots and debris. We decided to replace the pipes. This involved digging up our front lawn. On 1/13/09 the job was done. I am very pleased.

I called because my tub and sink had been draining very slowly for quite a while. My toilet occasionally did not flush completely on the first flush but worked fine when flushed again. They called before coming to the house and arrived promptly. While auguring the sink the existing trap was broken and they put in a PVC trap and new pop up. They had been offering a senior discount but said they would do this trap replacement for no additional charge instead. They suggested that the trap in the toilet was in such condition that I really needed a new toilet and suggested a senior higher toilet for $500. I declined since the toilet worked fine most of the time. While they were writing up the bill in another room, I checked the water drainage from both the sink and tub and they flowed out very well. After they left I noticed some debris in the toilet and removed it with a paper towel. When I flushed the toilet it did not empty and water seemed to be running slightly at all times. When I called Stefanski, he said they did not do anything to the toilet and again suggested a new toilet. The trap they put in under the sink has writing on it. I do not have a vanity so the pipe is exposed. They also did not replace the ring around the pipe at the wall so this looks unsightly. I eventually got the toilet to flush and not run on my own. I got a ring for the pipe at the hardware store.

I was happy with the repair because it was done in a timely manner. However they cut a square hole through our drywall and did not notify us that they did so and placed the square back in the wall.
