I really like them. It's looking great. I think it turning out wonderful. They work until it's done and they are very easy to work with. They are very friendly and very honest with me. They try to get the right kitchen that I want.

They were thorough, cleaned up after themselves and did good work. I will hire them again in the future.

Overall, things went rough. My house is still far from done. Project was said to take 4-6 weeks, instead took 9. Rick sub-contracted the work to a guy who was difficult and ignorant to deal and work with. The gut of the original bathroom went well. Things went downhill after that. The tile work was poor, several corrections had to be made (and still need to be made). I spent a lot of money on the tile, thought I was getting a professional install (I was wrong). The sub contractor walked off the job (I was glad to see him go) when I pointed out corrections in the tile. Rick tried to make it right but in the end I had to settle for spots which still need correction. Hardwood floor needs to be finished at the door thresh-holds before the carpet is installed. The hallway and bathroom door trims need to be replaced (door trims were set sloppy). I would have liked a finished staircase (option for a finished staircase was not offered or discussed). I need to sand and stain the staircase myself. Any correction I wanted was like pulling teeth. The plumber installed my tub faucet sloppy, the hot side handle is 2and quot; from the faucet / the cold side is 3and quot;. The electrician did not wire lights the way I wanted, wanted a switch for each function and be able to install dimmer switches. Instead I had to settle for full duplex switches. I bought a high end tub, not a home depot special. I gave them the specs at the beginning of the project. The electrician (or Rick) didn't realize the tub required a 240V connection till the final days of the project then blamed me for buying such a tub (which had been sitting in my house for nearly the entire project, really no excuses, I gave Rick and the sub-contractor the specs at the beginning of the project). The guy who did the brick refinish gave me a hard time about matching the mortar with the rest of the mortar in the brick. I have to match it. Funny thing is, the brick guy matched the mortar in the foyer, but not around the staircase. Another thing that's my fault I suppose. My house was left with a nice fresh layer of filth and sheet rock dust everywhere with several drywall spots that still need to be feathered and sanded. Apparently clean-up costs extra.
I liked how the staircase and master bedroom turned out (aside from the fact I need to sand and stain the staircase). Rick was generally a good guy to work with, he tried to make things right, unfortunately, many things still need correction which I'll take care of myself. It was hard trying to find anyone for the project. Many contractors would not show up for quote appointments (and they set the time and date). The overall layout of the bathroom is what I wanted (except I would've liked a vanity light for each sink), not just one big light. It's hard to find a contractor, Rick was better than the last one I hired. However, I still have many corrections and things left undone. This was my experience. I paid Rick the final payment, wanted my house back and be done with it.

From beginning to end, the work was done with complete professionalism. The crew was prompt and highly skilled. They were polite and clearly take pride in their work. Care was taken to clean up after their work. Rick went out of his way to find solutions to any issues. I have used them many times and would recommend them highly.

Matthew's Construction Company was great. Rick, the owner, came out and went over what the entire process and gave me the estimate within 2-3 days. During that estimate, he spend extra time letting me know how I should get the job done and what they would do to insure that my French drain system would not be disturbed. They started the project on a Tuesday and finished by Saturday. I provided the tile and grout and Matthew's Construction Company provided the rest of the materials. They did a tile boarder/base board on the basement floor that ended up looking awesome. The crew that came out (Rick plus two of his employees) were all very nice, professional, and helpful. Everything ended up looking great. I will definitely use Matthew's Construction Company in the future!

They stand behind their work. After they finished, a few days later I saw that there was a bit of a bleed through. I called them and they sent somebody back and fixed it. He does really give good service.

I contacted the company on 10/26 as I had come home to my roof crumbling in on my screened in porch. They responded right away and indicated they would come out first thing the following morning to provide recommendations. They arrived timely and gave me suggestions on how to fix it. They ended up tearing down the ceiling and recommended a different covering in the future. They also give me tips about my pending roofing project. I really apprciated there professionalism and assistance.

It was very prompt and efficient. Of course, the leak began the night before a holiday weekend and the repair the first day of the holiday. Rick saw that someone was out here the very next day and handled all of the holes in my walls in one day. What I thought was going to be several days, ended up being done in one day. There were a number of holes the plumbers had had to make to access the piping. His man handled it all efficiently. I have used Rick one other time for a poorly constructed back extension. He had his people come and handle it all quickly and efficiently, cleaning up when finished. 'Rick knows alot of people and seems to have very good contacts and understanding of what's needed. I have learned that it is wise to call him first when in need of help.

Rick and his crew were punctual and professional. They are excellent problem solvers in building my new shed doors, gate, steps and surround. They are hardworking, prepared and completely cleaned up after themselves.

I called Erickson plumbing and got an estimate on the plumbing. They don't do anything but plumbing so I asked for a recommendation from them for a contractor. Big Daddy's is a company they work with frequently. On their recommendation I asked for an estimate. The estimate included a new ceiling in the upstairs hallway, 2 new windows, a back door and new locks on the front and back doors. I may be foolish, but I left my key with Rick and went to Europe for 2 weeks. He and Ken Erikson worked out a schedule and had almost everything done when I returned home! I love the job!
