I learned of Eand F Contractors via a letter of introduction I received in the mail signed by the owner Angelo Fafaleos. I was impressed by the sincere, old-school professional spirit of the letter, the list of services offered, the 40 years of experience and the claim that the owner is on site from start to finish on every job. I saved the letter for months until a need arose. That need took the form of loose stones on our front porch and crumbling cement pointing. It was hazardous and needed to be fixed quickly. Since such work was mentioned in the letter, I immediately called and left a detailed message. My call was promptly returned by Mr. Fafaleos and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. He was very accommodating to my schedule and said he could arrive as early as 6 AM (!!). He quickly evaluated the job and told me how much it would cost. He also told me that he gives discounts if multiple jobs are combined into one project. As it turned out, we had some broken and missing blue stone from our patio that needed fixing, as well as a clogged downspout drain. He gave me a discounted package price for all the stone work of $1,000 and said he would unclog the drain spout at no additional charge. The day the work began, Mr. Fafaleos arrived alone and did all of the work himself. He was quick but not rushed, efficient, clean and respectful of our property. The work was completed in a few days. I decided on the spot that I would hire him for future projects and asked for a quote to install snow guards on our roof. His price was better than a quote from a local roofing company I have used in the past (more about them in the next paragraph). I believe I will hire Mr. Fafaleos and Eand F Contractors for our future roofing needs as well.
I would like to add that Mr. Fafaleos arrived in a clean company truck and was neatly dressed in a clean white company shirt and clean but practical work clothes. He made an excellent first impression. He is clearly proud of his company, his work, his experience and his reputation in the community. He showed me a binder of countless testimonial letters from happy customers neatly placed in plastic sleeves and invited me to read them while he evaluated the work to be done. He was very eager for me to read the many complimentary letters he has received. Before hiring him, he wanted me to know that he doesn't rush but works quickly, never listens to music or smokes on the job, never stands around talking on his cell phone and certainly doesn't allow any of his employees to do these things. This was a refreshing change from the a fore mentioned roofing company we hired a few months back to replace some slate tiles on our roof. They took all day and part of another doing a job that should have taken no more than a few hours. They were constantly standing in our driveway smoking, standing around idly talking and playing music on their van stereo, and yet they are one of the better known and respected roofing companies in the area. For the record, I smoke and love music, but the amount of time they wasted was shocking and found their behavior unprofessional and off-putting. After my experience with Mr. Fafaleos and Eand F Contractors and their excellent work and work ethic, I decided on the spot that I would hire them for my future roofing needs as well. Roofing is a major part of their work and numerous of the testimonial letters I read dealt with roofing jobs. Several included before, during and after pictures of what appeared to be large and challenging projects that were very impressively repaired. When my project was completed, Mr. Fafeleos left no trace. Everything was clean. There was no debris, no trash and no damage to surrounding property. I suppose these are things that should be expected from any respectable contractor, but too often this is not the case.
Mr. Fafaleos and Eand F Contractors have earned my respect, my future business and my enthusiastic recommendation.

The quality of service was excellent, but they definitely set their own schedule.
