Mr. Gough constructed a beautiful raised deck with composite decking and white vinyl wrapping for my townhome. I placed a call to Mr. Gough and came to my home a couple of days later to perform an estimate. Within a few days he returned with detailed plans and parts list along with pricing so that I could submit the request to my HOA. My HOA has a very complicated set of rules and Mr. Gough designed a plan that met all of their criteria. Once approved by my HOA, Mr. Gough handled obtaining permits from Montgomery county and then immediately began work. He arrived early and worked until dark until the job was completed which only took a couple of days. His work is exceptional and I could not be more pleased with the deck. I had several companies come for estimates and Mr. Gough beat all of their prices considerably. Not to mention, he is one of the kindest and genuinely good natured people that I have ever met. He brings a laptop showing you examples of work that he has done in the past and I guarantee that you will be impressed. I will be contacting hime in the future for any work that I need done on my home and recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, hard working contractor.

I contacted six contractors of which four responded with bids. The two lowest bids included The Magnificent Deck Company. After discussions with all bidders we decided to use Mr. Gough. The major deciding factors in our decision were views of his previous work and the fact that he does the work himself. He listened to what my wife and I wanted and offered suggestions and was very open to our suggestions and patiently answered our concerns. He worked with the county, pulling the necessary permits and quickly provided a redesign on the original plan when it was determined our septic tank would be too close to the support posts. Everything is fastened with bolts or screws and all exposed railings and posts have been routed to provide decorative and smooth splinter free edges. He discussed at length how to take care of our new deck and recommended care products. The work was completed on time and he did a great job of cleaning up the area when he was done. We now have a beautiful deck which is built to last.

Very good quality workmanship and attention to cosmetic details (routed edges for example). High quality materials used. Completed timely and was a very pleasant person to deal with.
