DECK CLEANING & RESTORATION

Mel and his crew arrived at the time they said they would.  They were courteous and efficient.  They power washed the entire deck.  They said they would return as soon as the deck had ample time to completely dry out.  At that time of the month, there were several thunderstorms -- virtually one every day.  So, it was a couple of weeks before they returned.  Frankly, I was concerned that they had forgotten me, but, fortunately, they called me before I called them to set up a follow-up appointment.  They arrived for the follow-up appointment at the time they said they would and treated the deck with a protective, waterproof coating. 
I am extremely pleased with the results, Mel's professionalism, punctuality, and fair price.  I plan to incorporate Mel's into my budget for annual maintenance. 
One note:  On the evening after they power washed the deck, one of my outdoor electric outlets (which was installed over 30 years ago and probably is not up to current codes) was not working.  After a couple of days, the outlet did work.  Since I assume water got into the outlet, I might recommend they cover outdoor electric outlets prior to the power washing.
