Approximately a year after having the roof installed, a large section of the shingles fell off. When I called, Mr. Kennedy came out and made a repair. A few months later, more shingles came off. When I called Mr. Kennedy, he promised to come out, but never showed. Every two or three months since, I have had to climb up on my roof and make repairs myself. I am not talking about a shingle here or there. Sections as large as four feet by four feet have come down. I have had another general contractor and a roofing specialist come and look at the roof. Both said that it was a terrible job. The specialist thought that he was looking at a 12-15 year old roof, not one that was three at the time. Due to the pitch of the roof, the shingles should have been nailed, yet not even staples were used. Mr. Kennedy seemed a jolly fellow, and I was happy with the work that was done, until the roof started falling apart. One does not generally expect to have to make frequent repairs on a roof that is just a few years old. At the time I am writing this, it has been three weeks since my last attempt to contact Mr. Kennedy. I spoke to his wife, who assured me that he would be contacting me. I have not heard from him. Another section of the roof is coming apart, and I will have to make another climb up to repair it. I rated the overall experience a 'D' because the other work done was satisfactory, but the roof is a matter of extreme annoyance.
