Invisible Fence of Maryland

This review is based solely on cost.  Just to upgrade the system, get two collars and move one side of the fence it was $1,500 and from what I've read that is the cost of a new system.  I fell like they take advantage of "existing" systems!

Very well.  These guys really know dogs.  They were efficient, neat, provided excellent followup after installation.

They were excellent.  They came out a number of times, first time was to inspect the property and give an estimate, the next time was to help start the dog’s training, and then came out and installed it and started training the dog and give me instructions on how to train.  There have been some issues with the collar batteries and they came right out and replaced the batteries.  We paid one fee and haven’t had to pay an extra penny for all those services.

This fence is for my son's dog when he come to visit. Because of this, we did not have to purchase the color which he already has or have the dog trained. Since it was just installed and the weather turned bad, the dog has not been here to try it out yet.
I have used Invisible Fence at other properties and been very pleased over the years.

Debbie came out to look at the property and gave us a choice of fences. I liked the fact that she didn't push the more expensive fence, but said that given the size of our yard, the less expensive choice would be as good. She told us how to train the dog, and her husband came out later that week to do more training. Our dog was very responsive and it is working well.

They were excellent! Prompt, efficient, informative and the representative was wonderful with the dogs. The majority of the expense was for the four collars that we purchased for the four dogs. He showed us how to train them and we worked with the dogs for the week that they indicated and by the end of the week, we were good to go. The dogs love being outdoors and running around and we love having the advantage of the dogs being within a given boundary without having an actual fence. We recommend them highly!

Debbie and her family own the franchise here in Howard County and are very kind and professional. She accepted a coupon from another company and applied the discount.
Day one Debbie came to our home and explained the whole process and answered all questions thoroughly! We scheduled for her son to come out and install the fence which he did a few days later.
I am waiting for our last visit for a little bit better training. I caution anyone using the invisible fences for dogs to make sure they ask for more time for training the dog. Our dog has repeatedly run through the fence though I have taken out 2 - 3 times a day to walk her through the process and the fence works it is just that if the dog is going at a high speed the fence alert is not strong enough.

Dogs learned very quickly not to go across the burried wire fence. Only took a couple of adjustments to strength of signal for them to know not to cross it.

Both times it went great, they were a pleasure to work with. The Installation of the fence was seamless, I was very impressed by all the equipment they had for the different terrains. They marked the boundaries with little white flags so the dogs have a visual until they are trained. The package comes complete with 3 training sessions for the dogs. You do an initial session on day one and they come back two more times, on the third visit they bring their dogs as distractions, its a great idea!!
For the second visit they installed their Smart Door in our basement and ovided us with a second all weather door that we installed in our garage door. The smart door works with the invisible fence collars and locks and unlocks as the dogs approach.

Professional and courteous service.

They are excellent. They have come out right away when we had any problems. Sometimes after a general power outage, the devices continuously beep. We forget how to make the beeping stop so we call them and they help us with no problems. The product works well and I am pleased with their service. It really helps the resale value of our home too.

It was a good experience all around and I would recommend this franchise to anyone. They were professional, friendly, and they showed up when they said they would.

The guy came out and fixed the problem that I had. He charged me $125. I wasn’t there when they came to install the fence initially. They were very responsive. He did a really good job and I thought it was fair what he charged me. They were very good. They were punctual and professional. I would use them again in the future if need be.

One guy came out to look at the property and give the estimate. He was nice and was able to answer all my questions. I called later to set up an appointment and he said another guy would come out to install it. I wasn't able to be there when they installed the fence, but my husband said it went well and they even gave us some training sessions for our dog. My only complaint is that the indoor control box was set up in an inconvenient place, but that was my fault for not being there to tell them where I wanted it. I'm going to give them a call soon to see if they'll change it for me so maybe I'll have an update later. All in all, a very good experience. Would recommend.

They were able to come the same day I called, which was great since the company that installed the fence couldn't come out for several days. From now on I will only call Invisible Fence of Maryland.

I've been working with them for over 10 years. They come out if I have any problems. One time the fence was struck by lightening and they came out and fixed it promptly and professionally. They are great to work with and I would recommend them.
