They are a high quality, high cost place.

They have fantastic quality.  They are the very best place in the whole world to get annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs.  You name it and they've got it.  They are beyond fantastic!   Their place is a spectacular, unbelievable, magnificent place.

Professional service from start to finish.  Meredith did a great job with a design plan that gave us both high and low end options and was in contact with us throughout the entire project and followed up with us after project completion.  The only difficulty we had was trying to coordinate our irrigation contractors with the work crew so I wish that I had arranged that in advance of starting the project (I was under the impression that Homestead would manage the irrigation--not the case).  The finished project is beautiful and, amazingly enough, all the plants and flowers have survived, despite my black thumb!  I hesitated to write a review initially because of my experience with another landscaper in our backyard (see my review on Wentworths)--it looked great initially but within the year major construction and planting flaws were revealed and I was ultimately VERY unhappy. No problems with ANY of the work that Homestead performed.  I'm so happy that I used them for our front yard and I would not hesitate to use them again.  It was expensive, but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Andy  at the "Diagnostics Lab" took one look and quickly knew the information and directed me to needed interventions. this service was no cost. However, I did buy some fungicide, frost resistant plants and ceramic pots.

Homestead is the best of the best.  There's simply no comparison!  If I could figure out how to nominate them for Page of Happiness, I'd click that too!

They have plenty of gardeners there that can instruct me on what specific things to do for the plants I've bought. They have tons and tons of plants. I go there because they have a huge variety of plants.

I like their professionalism and quality of products.  I used them last year, too.

They are very insightful about the plants they added to our property. They did a great job of identifying what plants would tie into our overall landscaping needs.

We are very pleased with them.  It turned out beautifully.  They are wonderful and very professional.  The people are extremely knowledgeable about what kinds of plants work in the area.  They have a very good eye; they are very creative in putting things together.  They aren't inexpensive, but they are worth every penny.

I've been generally pleased with the stuff they provide. They tend to be on the pricey side, but they have good plants and materials. The sod they put in earlier looks great. The few people that I've dealt with have been helpful and knowledgeable. The delivery people are courteous.

The contract for this job was signed in May of 2008. The work was not completed until November of 2010. Homestead Gardens sent final bills before all of the planting, drainage and lighting was completed. Repeated phone calls met with repeated promised that the job would be completed. Interim inspections by the City were not requested or performed. I demanded final inspections be signed off by the City and the job did not pass final inspections leading to additional delays. Homestead Gardens offered no explanations or apologies for a job that was promised to be completed in three weeks as was not completed for over 2 1/2 years. I would never use their landscaping services again. They charge a premium price for poor service and follow through.

They didn't have the original arrangement I picked from the website, but did a lovely job putting together an alternate selection.

She was upfront and honest about the timing and process of implementing and completing the project. Once planted, she gave thorough instructions on maintaining the gardens.

THEY CAME OUT A DAY AFTER I CALLED. THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB WITH MY LAWN THEIR WORK IS PROFESSIONAL. THEIR PRICES ARE REASONABLE. I WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEIR SERVICES.

DELIVERY WAS DAYS LATE DUE TO RAIN. THE DELIVERERS REFUSED TO TAKE SOD TO THE BACKYARD, LEAVING IT ON MY FRONT SIDEWALK AND LEFT A LARGE WOODEN PALETTE THAT I COULD NOT REMOVE WITHOUT HELP.
