On Top Home Improvement just completed my home roof replacement in MD and their expertise was nothing short of stellar. I had storm damage and worked through the insurance claim process, which took months. Initially, I hastily contracted another roofing company, a decision that resulted in disappointing service, empty promises, and inflated costs. I fired the first roofing company and paid to get out of their contract. After meeting Dan Cox in person at the property he laid out all options with several pricing options that were reasonable and transparent. His pricing covered all aspects for full roof replacement, with no hidden costs or surprises. After contracting with On Top Home Improvement he assisted with my insurance claim and provided documentation to secure payments for all items covered under my insurance policy. I hold On Top Home Improvement in high regard and recommend their top-notch services. On future project Dan Cox will be my first call.

Excellent job on siding, roof repair ( replacement) and painting inside due to water damage.

They came a day early, started at 7 AM, and finished before 3 PM. My roof was 30 years old, and they had to replace quite a lot of plywood, but the results are top-notch; and they left no trace of their work other than a beautiful expanse of fresh shingles atop my house. The only "problem" is that Nick takes his time, getting out the paperwork. I'm waiting for the bill.

Team followed through on commitments of the project. Communication always had to go back to home office vice on-site crew but the result and quality are excellent.

I had my roof replaced by On Top 25 years ago (Yes - in September 1995 !) and have never had a problem with it. When it was time for a new roof (and after 25 years it certainly was) I had no hesitation in going back to On Top. Don had since been joined by his son Nick and it was a pure pleasure dealing with them (AND Jose - who had worked on my roof 25 years ago.) Bottom Line: their price was more than competitive with the other bids I got, they started promptly and finished up in one day, and did a THOROUGH clean-up afterwards. (After carefully searching around the house the next day I found exactly ONE nail in the driveway.) If a relative, friend, or neighbor asks me for a roofing recommendation I would tell them to call On Top FIRST !

I worry about details and Dan &Nick were patient with me and answered all my questions. They also passed up opportunities to sell me additional work. Its nice to see this kind of honesty in your contractor. No hard pressure sales either. This was an entire roof replacement on a large house and detached garage. Probably twice the size of an average home roof job. I got 4 quotes and although they had a great price, they were not the lowest (they were next to the lowest). I selected them based on their honesty and my belief that they would do a good job. I was right. It took the crew 2 days to complete the job and I watched as they paid attention to every little detail up there on the roof. Cleanup was important to me too, and they did a great job cleaning up. If you're worried about little details and would like an honest contractor, then I urge you to consider On Top Home Improvements. Again, no high pressure sales, so have them come out and give you a quote. Update: 28 months later and I have a small leak. I called On Top and they sent a guy out the next day! Some caulk on the chimney flashing had cracked, which let in a small amount of water. He showed me pictures, removed the old caulk and applied new. These things happen. The important thing is how the problem is handled. I feel that sending someone out the next day and charging me nothing for the repair is certainly the right way.

This is the only company who told me I didn't need to replace my whole roof to fix my leaky sky light. They told me that the other companies work on commission and push the sales and that my shingles and roof looked great beside the one skylight that was installed improperly. They saved me over $2,000 and did a great job on my roof. Still no problem plus they have a guarantee. I would recommend them to anyone and will always call them for any roofing jobs I have int he future.

Guys were great worked with me through the payment issues i had to wait a good couple of months before we could put the order through. I would definitely use them again. I wish i had gotten photos of after the fact but i think thats totally on me.

The work itself was done quick and well, but the final documents took a little while to be sent. They were also good about following up after the work was done.
