Terrible! We changed to this company because we wanted a company that did not use harmful pesticides. We had a nice stand of grass in the front and back before NLA started taking care of our lawn. Over time, it had progressively started looking worse than when they started. Then last spring, they applied some sort of treatment that KILLED OUR GRASS. It turned our front and back yards into mud pits. We paid a lot of money to sod our front yard and now it's destroyed. NLA came out once to look at it, promised to fix it and never did. They applied a late summer grass seed and of course it didn't germinate because it was applied so late. Our lawn is absolutely disgusting because of this company's negligence.

All our interactions with Natural Lawn in Damascus have been outstanding. They are working on repairing our lawn after we hired them this year but they are very careful with our organic farm animals and many pets. We also called them when our cypress trees suddenly became infested with bagworms and they contacted a 'sister company' that was very responsive.

We do not have any problems with them. They are wonderful. The person who comes to do the work will knock on the door and inform us what he's going to do and inquire if we have any issues.

Natural Lawn care was hired to provide full lawn care through 2014.  Over the course of the year, our lawn slowly degraded where we ended up with bare spots, weeds and increased inset growth. While the staff was very professional, Each complaint was followed by, we'll improve the lawn this fall.  Fall came, weeds increased and reseeded areas didn't improve.  After a supervisor came out and inspected the lawn,  he understood the problem but provided yet another set of excuses on why the lawn deteriorated over the year.  After meeting with a supervisor, I stopped all services.

We use NLA to treat our lawn and continue to be very pleased with their service. They are always very helpful over the phone and the professionals that come to do the treatments are very polite. We like the fact that their products are safe for our family and would highly recommend them. We receive compliments on the quality of our lawn.

They come to the house, treat the lawn, speak with me if I am home and leave a written summary of what they did and tips.

They charge by the visit. I am satisfied with what they do. Because of the trees, we still have a somewhat patchy lawn. What they do is fine. I will continue to use them.

So fare I have been pleased with the service and I plan to continue the service next year.

After a rough start with them (sent the wrong equipment twice) we are on the right track.  The salesman has been extremely nice, and even kept a professional attitude after I sent a rather nasty e-mail to him when they sent the wrong equipment the second time.  They assured me that it was an over site and they would fix it, and they did.
We have small kids that like to play in the yard, so the products used were important to me.  I am also a big fan of the Chesapeake Bay and its crabs and rockfish, so there was another reason for me to be careful about what products may run off my yard and into the watershed.
I was dubious that such eco-friendly products would do the job well, but not even a week after they applied the first treatment, the grass is greener and all of the weeds are withering up and dying.  Needless to say I am impressed so far.  I also signed up for the fall aeration and seeding package, and I really can't wait to see how that turns out.  If the early results are any indication, then I should be even happier next spring than I am now.  

**UPDATE** (7-3-12)
The lawn is looking great, and I am not seeing any weeds in the lawn (only in the flower beds, which are my responsibility).  I can't wait to see how the lawn looks after the fall seeding and aeration.  My yard is starting to look as good as my neighbors who has been using a different (non-organic) company for years.  Definitely worth it so far.

We signed up for a year of service. We have lots of kids and a dog and were concerned about chemicals so we chose them. We had a horrible African Violet/Snake grass problem that had taken over front and back yards. It was so bad that when Natural Lawn got rid of it (with one treatment!!) there were lots of holes/dirt spots in the lawn where the weeds had been. They reseeded and fertilized and our yard hasn't looked this good in many years! There are still some spots that need attention, but they are planning to address those next. So far we have been very pleased.

I've used Natural Lawn of America - Damascus MD in the past and was very happy with the results. 

Then I decided to switch to a large, national company to save money and the results were disappointing.  they lawn would get very green right away but it wouldn't last.

I then tried a smaller family owned local business that was also very cheap.  Unfortunately that was a disaster.  My lawn looked much worse than before.

This year I wen back to natural Lawn of America and already I can see the lawn looking good again.  The lawn gets a little greener but the green lasts.  And it just looks like a healthier lawn.  Natural Lawn is expensive but in the end I feel like you get what you pay for. 

My lawn has never looked better. They are very professional. The guy who treats your lawn, call you back to see if you had any problems with the services and that you are pleased. I have been happy with them. They are reasonably prices. I think their competition is a little higher. They try to avoid using real heavy chemical. They are environmentally conscious.

After I received a postcard in the mail last year, I called them to learn more about the service. They said that when they sent someone, they'd call beforehand to schedule and explain the details of the service.  One day, someone rings the doorbell. Why didn't they call beforehand? They didn't keep my phone # on file. He didn't give any more details about the treatment system, pricing, schedule of future treatments, etc.

Not too long afterward, I received a bill at the front door for the a second treatment. Seriously? I wasn't happy with the first experience.  I have no idea what you're doing or that you were even coming. No one explained your services, and I certainly didn't get any literature about your lawncare plan. I called Naturalawn several times over the next couple of months to dispute the bill.

Environmentally friendly lawncare may be worth the premium you pay, but customer service and responsiveness should be a part of that as well.
