Before the work began, the owner gave great advice on what would look good together without pushing any product. The work started on time and finished early. Everything was done with excellent workmanship. It turned out better than expected! Upon completion, everything was cleaned up extremely well and I didn't have to do any cleaning myself.

The process went extremely well from start to finish. They worked with us personally to lay out the new cabinets and to select the flooring and backsplash. The demolition and installation went exactly along with their proposed schedule. The workers were very professional and cleaned up after every day. There were a couple of minor issues along the way (there always are) but these were dealt with very quickly. Overall we were extremely impressed with Hassle Free Home Improvements, Inc and would recommend them to our friends, as well as consider them for future home improvement projects.

They had done a major renovation of an addition 6 yrs ago. New bathroom bedroom closet stairs etc. Great workers and I have not had any issue with any of their work since. The fact that I called them again to do a major renovation of my kitchen speaks for itself. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know Kitchen is still work in progress but almost at the tail end and it looks great

We hired HFHI to perform a complete interior update of the house we bought new 37 years ago. Upgrades included all new flooring & carpeting throughout, a complete rework of the kitchen area, four bedrooms, two full baths and a half-bath, and a sunroom addition to the back of the house. All this work was accomplished with meticulous attention to detail and at a very competitive price. We would definitely hire HFHI again for any new work that we may plan on doing in the future.

HassleFree Home Improvements were true to their name. They were easy to work with, resolved every issue as it arose, and made it possible for us to remain In the house and have access to appliances while they renovated our kitchen and laundry room. My wife and I greatly looked forward to remodeling a kitchen that had many shortcomings and issues. From the start, Mickey impressed us with his breadth of knowledge and extensive experience in remodeling, his cheerful demeanor, and his sincere desire to help us achieve our dream. We were impressed with how quickly a reasonably-priced plan that we loved was developed, one that ultimately surpassed what we imagined was possible with the space we have. Steve and his crew were fantastic in getting the work done in a timely fashion with high-quality and great attention to detail. The company is clearly very client-focused as it adequately addressed every question and concern that we had, and was very flexible in implementing some late stage changes that we proposed. We love our beautiful remodeled kitchen! We would definitely hire Hassle Free Home Improvement again and have made a number of recommendations already.

Mickey and crew accurately estimated the work to be done, worked with us to pick out materials, and converted the tub in the master bath into a walk-in shower, and replaced the hall bathroom's tub. Our house is so much nice with these two refurbishing.

We love our new kitchen! Mickey Taff and his entire crew at Hassle Free Home Improvements, Inc., Damascus, MD, did a fantastic job. Mickey's designer, Kevin, designed a new floor plan from our old 1987 floor plan and the fresh, sparkling update works great for us. Countertop, backsplash, new flooring, and custom cabinets all came together beautifully in the projected timeline. An extremely talented and easy- to- work- with crew. I highly recommend Hassle Free to everyone. This review is for our kitchen remodel in April. Since then Hassle Free has also remodeled our powder room with the same professional expertise and high quality work. We love this award winning Damascus company!! Mickey and his foreman Steve and all the crew were delightful two work with through it all!

Mickey Taff and his outstanding team of designer, foreman (and assistants), electrician, painter, counter top builders, and the whole crew were pleasant to work with and took great pride in their work. Hassle Free Home Improvements work is fantastic! They helped us choose the new cabinets and added a center cabinet in the kitchen. We were able to select the floor color and material that accented the cabinets. The dishwasher was conveniently relocated next to the sink. The reconstruction crew was very focused on all aspects of the installation and they checked with us on the progress. We are pleased with the work on our kitchen. We highly recommend Hassle Free Home Improvements for upgrading kitchens and dining rooms.

HassleFree converted my existing soaking tub into a walk in shower. They gave excellent consulting letting me know my options. The work was performed according to the design. On time and budget. Excellent job. Would use them again for other home improvement work. Photos include shower doors and without shower doors (Glare off the glass).

Mickey Taff is an honest and knowledgeable guy, and his estimate came in so close to the reasonable final cost of our master bathroom renovation, I was happy. I say this after having requested a few last minute changes in the work in order to make my vision come true. The crew supervisor's philosophy was "make her happy" and how often in this life do you get that? My bathroom is so beautiful I have to wander in several times a day to look at it. (You should see the hideous "before" shots.) I bought most of the tile and fittings for the bathroom separately, which was time-consuming, but made the bathroom a fun team effort.

Because we were so pleased with the kitchen remodel they did in 2018, we didn't hesitate to contact them again for a bathroom remodel. We were not disappointed. We worked with Mickey again on the design and he suggested some cost cutting measures like re-glazing rather than replacing the bath and tiles and the new bathroom looks great. Other than that, it was a complete bathroom remodel floor to ceiling. They are professional and the work went smoothly and efficiently. We couldn't be more pleased and we have recommended Hassle Free to our friends.

Hire Hassle Free Home Improvements. Mickey (who runs the company), his team, and his company are top notch. They delivered a total kitchen renovation on budget and in only five weeks. Our old kitchen had original... everything. Cabinets, countertops, sink. It was cramped, poorly laid out, and falling apart. When we started planning our kitchen renovation, we sought out bids from four well-reviewed companies. Here's what we liked best about Mickey and the Hassle Free team: 1. Mickey was willing to get specific about both plans and costs before we signed a contract. I appreciated having a firm sense of what our renovation would cost -- before I wrote a large check to get started. That wasn't possible with some other contractors, who wanted us to sign a contract with a proposed budget range of several thousand dollars that might fluctuate depending on our choices over the course of the project. Negotiating with details involved was a lot more up front work for Mickey, but it made me feel much more secure about the kitchen we'd be getting. 2. Mickey's team included a kitchen designer, who visited our home and drew up a plan based on his expertise, as well as our preferences. Other companies asked what we wanted and tried to conform their plans to just those ideas. That's fine, but what do I know about designing an optimal kitchen? I appreciated that Kevin, Mickey's kitchen designer, made suggestions about how to lay out our kitchen differently -- and better -- than I had imagined. The day he visited our home and walked us through an alternate design, it felt like a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders because we had someone with genuine experience to help us with the very important task of sorting out how to lay out the new kitchen. 3. Steve, Mickey's foreman, is amazing. Steve's work is very good, he is responsive to questions and comments, and he keeps the job moving forward. I work from home a lot, so I was around during much of the renovation. Steve was unfailingly happy to answer my frequent questions and to make small fixes as the work went along. He and his team also did incredible work. Our backsplash tile is pretty detailed, and the skillfulness of the tile cutting and setting made for quite a dramatic effect. 4. Budget and timing. Conventional wisdom says that you should budget for a kitchen renovation to run 20% over budget. Crazy. Our kitchen renovation was 100% on budget -- the only additional charge we encountered was when we decided to add more lighting than originally included in our contract. The additional cost was reasonable. As for timing, our renovation took only five weeks from Day 1 of demolition to the day Steve told me I could start putting things in the cabinets. It's practically unheard of for a kitchen renovation to be completed so quickly. 5. Quality. Kevin and Mickey helped us select quality cabinets, countertops, and hardware that were the right balance of high end details and construction and affordability to fit our budget. I really value that Hassle Free could facilitate our desire for both quality and cost-consciousness. I'd absolutely hire Hassle Free Home Improvements again. They are first rate.
