+ -1 moreAfter initial call, it took over a week to get a call back to set up a day for the estimate. At estimate, Mr. Musser walked around with me to see the work to be done. After several phone calls, we set a date. He and his crew were on time and worked hard the entire day and finished everything I had asked them to do. Although I had asked for a written estimate, he didn't give me one. I decided to hire him anyhow since I have neighbors who have used him in the past and were very pleased. His final price was his original estimate, $2,000. Based on research I had done, I felt this price was very reasonable.
Description of Work: Cut down 2 big trees that were in bad shape: apple, mulberry. Cut down 2 small dead trees near fence and were very careful not to harm the fence. Cut branches of several trees that were growing over the roof, interfering with the gutters, too close to the house, or touching electric wires. Trimmed all bushes around the house: 2 near driveway, ones along front porch, 4 Butterfly bushes, Forsythia, ones near windows in back of house. Removed vines and small growth under large Evergreen tree and Forsythia bush. Cleanup was meticulous: ground up branches and trunks with wood chipping machine, raked area, used blower to clear small particles.
