we contacted Schadt, they came out within a week to look at our system and provided an estimate. We did a little online research and called with some followup questions about options, John seemed very knowlegable and discussed the pros and cons of systems that were options for our home. a few weeks later the system he had ordered came in- John and a second man spent about half a day- it was considerable physical labor to dismantle and remove the old system- then they installed a new furnace that was less than a tenth the size of our previous unit- more storage space in the basement!!! YAY! ...AND our heating bills went down about 25%- some was due to the decreased cost of natural gas- but some was due to the increased efficiency of the new furnace. That winter we were able to indulge ourselves and keep the house a little warmer- in the past it had been too expensive to turn the thermostat up!
