Jasmina Hair Salon

I've been going to hair stylists for the past 50 years - I've gone to famous stylists in NY & LA, but NO ONE has done such an incredible transformation on me, as Jasmina Vasic.  I have curly wavy hair and the rule of thumb is to cut curly hair when it's dry - which she did on my very first visit.  She also realized that for my shape of face, a long style isn't flattering to me. She also blew dry my hair with a large round brush creating a nice straight bob the turns under at the bottom along my neckline.  OMG I looked sooooo goood!  I actually started crying at the transformation. I had been the ugly duckling and Jasmina turned me into a beautiful swan!!  She waxed & tweezed my eyebrows  (huge improvement) and did some high lights and low lights so my blonde looks natural.
She has also studied make-up via Kevyn Aucoin. Have you seen his makeup book?  Genus!!  Jasmina has the same knowledge, so she can make you up for a special event and you'll look amazing. I've been acting lately and she does my hair/makeup before head shots are ever taken! 
I cannot recommend her enough!   I love that she works alone in a small shop attached to her home. It's nice not having 20 people milling about while getting beautified. The only down side is that she is 2 hours from DC, out west in Cumberland MD.  But, if you are going to Deep Creek Lake, you MUST stop and have Jasmina do your hair.  I drive up every other month for my Jasmina appointment, she is WORTH THE DRIVE!!
