They didn't want to drive to Westchester VA to pick-up the replacement part, so I did.  I told them that if I went to go get the part, they had to guarantee that I had heat by end-of-day.  Fine.  Agreed.  I picked-up the part (5 hour drive, round trip), they showed-up, installed the new part, then left.  They didn't even bother to check that all was working.  I had cold air blowing out of the vents in January.  When I called, they were annoyed that it wasn't working.  They came back and "fixed" it  again.  Two hours later, cold air was blowing out of the vents.  I called again.  They came back (annoyed) and "fixed" it again.  We had to run our furnace without the cover for it to work.  I was so worried our house would go up in flames (it didn't).  Not only did we get attitude, we got plumbing putty on our entrance carpet and hardwood floors.  They completely overestimate their abilities; there's so much better local talent out there (I promise).  By the way, you'll be happy to hear they still put an up-charge on the part . . .  even though I went and got it.

I like everything about him.  He installed air conditioning systems in our house about 1999.  Anytime I need him, he's here within a matter of a few hours.  I would absolutely continue to use him in the future.
