"I apologize for what seems like a delay in responding to this review. The email saying you left a review just came on March 23, 2019 but it looks like you dated the work 9/26/2016 but I show the last visit to your house was November 5, 2015. I am also confused on the nature of the complaint and the cost of the work. You had purchased a house in which we installed a system for the previous owner. We installed the system in December 2010 and took care of the system for over 4 years when she sold her home to you. The first visit for you was done in July 2014. We continued to fill/maintain the system until November 2015. Unfortunately we did find a problem with the unit on our visit on November 5, 2015; the head on the feed pump had cracked. This is a unit that is used every single day/every time water is run and in the 5 years since installation it was the only thing that had needed any sort of repair. The part was charged at $278 which included the labor - not $400. The total bill was $452.41 however that also included chemicals, salt, chlorine, and filling the chemical feeder. The part and labor alone did not total that amount. We did break this down by line item on the service ticket. Other than that $278 all previous services were for regular maintenance of filling salt and chemicals. This was done over three years ago and I do apologize if there was a problem with my technician. I would have handled this immediately if it had been brought to my attention. I also would have been happy to explain the breakdown of charges and why the part may have failed after 5 years of use. The previous homeowner purchased the system and going back through the records I do not see where a cost of $2500 was incurred. The pump tube should be replaced yearly which the previous owner was doing. Since this is an extra charge from the regular delivery service we do not perform the service without prior approval. The reminder letter was mailed on November 17, 2014 since the service would have been due in December 2014. I apologize if this was not made clear to you as the new homeowner and I will make sure my staff is aware that when ownership changes we need to ensure they understand the maintenance that is required. I appreciate your feedback and would have liked the opportunity to correct any issues when they occurred a few years ago. Thank you - Alison (owner)"
The owner of Integrity Water Solutions was punctual, informative and courteous. He was able to walk me, a neophyte, through the operation of all parts of the water treatment system with tips and suggestions for maintenance and improvements. Most importantly, he diagnosed my problem and was able to quickly resolve it.
Without a doubt, I would use Integrity Water Solutions for necessary work and for someone to whom I could rely upon for a referral to another person/company for just about any type of work.
The technician arrived earlier than the scheduled time; however, this wasn't a problem. He was very knowledgeable regarding the systems and explained both how the systems operate, as well as routine maintenance. He performed water tests to verify the operation of the water softener, re-set the water softener regeneration cycle (which was functioning), showed how to drain the in-line filters (which didn't appear to have been done by the previous owner in some time), as well as how often to add salt. On the reverse osmosis system, he also checked the water to verify operation of the system and changed the filters (also which hadn't been changed in some time by the previous owner). I appreciated that he cheerfully answered even my simplest questions regarding the systems; I am confident now that I know how that my systems are functioning properly, have clean filters and what is needed to maintain the systems. He also left his card and company contact information if additional questions arise in the future.
Integrity Water Solutions is one of those gem companies you find on Angie's List that exceed expectations and which you feel confident in using in the future.
