We had been recommended to contact Chris at Wedgewood Decorators by another contractor we were using. Chris was very responsive and called us back right away. He came out and gave us an estimate that seemed high to us but he reassured us that the quality of his work was worth the money we would be paying. We were not on site and living out of state so we were getting reports and pictures from a friend during the job. We finally saw the work ourselves and found quite few problems. One of the major issues we had was the guys who installed the trim in the kitchen did not put it down to the tile floor and left a large gap. The dining room and kitchen floors have different heights and they decided to install the trim up off the floor a 1/2 and quot; and never bother to call and find out if this would be okay. When we inspected the job and called to complain, Chris said that he would fix it right away. We then received a bill for $324.00 to fix it which we felt was absurd considering it should have been part of the original estimate. We also had 6 closet doors installed through out the house. All of which had to be reinstalled because they didn't fit. When we called to complain he said the temperature had changed and it was our problem to fix. There was also some mismatched trim in one of the bedrooms which he did say he would address but never did. The paint quality was okay but there were numerous spots of paint on the carpet. Overall, this is average work I would expect from a contractor, however, I was expecting high quality job for the price we paid.

Chris Jackman and his crew did an outstanding job at my house. Wedgewood Decorators estimate was reasonable and below other 4 other Annapolis area painting companies. Chris was able to schedule the work promptly and his crew was timely and courteous. Quite frankly, the prep-work, painting, and clean-up exceeded my expectations. Chris’s crew leader performed thorough inspection of the repair work and painting project and was professional throughout the entire process. Bottom line, I have more work to complete and Chris and his crew at Wedgewood Decorators have earned my business.

THE PAINTERS ARE FRIENDLY, CONSCIENTIOUS, AND DILIGENT WORKERS. IT HAS BEEN A PLEASURE HAVING THEM COMPLETE THE JOB. THE HEAD GUY, CHRIS, CHECKS ON THEM REGULARLY AND IS ALSO VERY EASY TO DO BUSINESS WITH.
