WASHINGTON HOME REMODELERS INC

Wow, where to begin? We found this company through a Groupon deal and thought they would be a good company to remodel our master bathroom. The offer included blueprints of the proposed remodel and a credit towards the remodel. We sat down and went over everything in detail and struck a deal for a full remodel. What a mistake! After they had a signed deal, they turned into a COMPLETELY different company. They might as well have thrown out everything we discussed because they didn't have a clue on what they were doing during the remodel. They said the project would take 3-4 weeks and they finally finished almost 6 months from the start date! This was a modest project, not some mansion super-bath or something. The work was sloppy and they couldn't even get basic things right like laying tile properly or putting in a showerhead at the right height (it was neck-level). The remodeler in charge of our job, Allen, was the epitome of a "snake-oil salesman". He would flat out lie and change things you had discussed all the time. I honestly couldn't believe he had ever done a successful remodel before. Having them do our remodel was a complete and utter nightmare.
In short: Avoid like the plague!

He then sent us a layout that was close but had several errors.
I emailed him back and asked for corrections.I have called and emailed.
On July 18th I got an email that Ed sent it into the company for review.
Since then I have never received any updates.
I have emailed Ed directly and also the company email.
I called the company but was referred back to Ed.
We were hoping to get the kitchen remodel done in the summer.
It is fall and they still don't respond.
Maybe they are so busy from the Groupon that they no longer need customers.
I wish I knew so that I didn't  waste time waiting for them to follow up.
Just a waste of $49

While communicating with this company I told five different people that I live in an apartment. They scheduled my appointment and then an hour before they were supposed to be at my apartment they called and cancelled my appointment and told me they do not service apartments. I thought this was very unprofessional. I am very upset about my experience with this company.

They were knowledgeable. I did not go with them because of the price. I might use them if I have more money.

THEY DID A TERRIBLE JOB! THEY DID NOT SEAL IT OFF AND IT LEAKS. THE HEAT AND THE COLD COMES IN JUST LIKE IT WAS OPEN. I PAID FOR THE JOB IN FULL AND THEY TOOK FOREVER TO FINISH IT. THEY TOOK TOTAL ADVANTAGE ON ME AND I DO NOT APPRECIATE IT AT ALL. THEY WERE BAD!
