National Carpet

Would not recommend them based on the poor quality of workmanship. After two months, the quality of work was very bad and left many areas on my floors that could not be fixed without heavy sanding down further than what they had done.

Their rep was extremely helpful in selecting a color and figuring out the best width of carpet to minimize seams that might trip one of our little kids. The only problem was that their rep had said the installers would glue the wooden strips to our concrete basement floor. The installers showed up and started hammering them into our concrete basement floor, which is not ideal. Apparently gluing the wooden strips requires doing the glue requires coming one day, and then coming another day to actually put down the carpet. Hopefully the nails in the concrete floor won't cause moisture problems... Otherwise they were great; the result looks great.

Fantastic service from beginning to end. They have a large selection of flooring to choose from. They came out, measured and went over the options with us. We choose Eucalyptus flooring for the main floor with some vinyl planks in the kitchen. Items came quickly and then they had a crew ready in 2 weeks. The crew was excellent. It took a day to do the hardwood, and half a day for the vinyl. They were profession and the work looked perfect when done. The crew was quick and always made sure what they were doing was want we wanted if there were any questions. The staff from National Carpet always made sure we knew what was going on and what was next. The price for service and flooring was the best out of 4 places we checked. They were not high pressure lets sign today either like other places and they were willing to work with you to get what you wanted. Whenever we get more flooring work done, this is the place I am going too.

Consultation was very thorough and product was delivered on time, very professional. We are very happy with our purchase.

Price was good. Installation was good. I am waiting for a minor detail to get fixed and am a little frustrated by the slowness of the company to make the repair.

The work was excellent! The two workers came in and finished the work over a few days. They were efficient and were flexible even when I wanted a last minute change with the baseboards being replaced. My main concern was getting the flooring done before we moved in and they accomplished the majority of the goal in a less than a week even with the last minute change I requested with the closet flooring and the baseboards. The owner is very friendly and was always willing to answer my calls. He kept me informed about the status of the flooring order and delivery. I would definitely use this small business again and I plan too for replacing my laundry room flooring.

We have renters in the home several states away. We went through Home Depot. Didn't see the work but the renter had no complaints.

Everything went great! The guys showed up on time and did a great job. The only slight hiccup that we experienced was the guys didn't have the right color/size floor molding (quarter round) to match the rest of our house. So they went back, found what we needed and came back in a few days to finish the job. We'll definitely use them again!

We met Randy at the Crofton showroom. He quickly found that we had found them on Angie's list and were making our first ever carpet purchase. He gave us what he called "Carpet 101" so that we had the knowledge to make an intelligent carpet purchase. Over the next 3-4 days, we decided on a great carpet that fit our budget. Randy worked hard to help us find the right carpet for our home and gave us a great price. Workers showed up on time the morning of install and were done by early afternoon. We've had the carpet now for 3 weeks and are very happy with the purchase.

I had a piece of carpet I needed installed. I called and was told the installer would call me, within a couple of hours erv called me and we scheduled a time he could come and survey the room. He and his assistant came promptly on time and was ready to start right away. I thought it was just for a survey.They had padding and tack strip on their truck. I was not ready so we scheduled for the next day. They arrived at said time, I had the room all cleared out except for the bed. But I thought if I took up the old carpet and padding they would move the bed for me, and they did. They were pros. They put down the padding then brought the roll up the stairs into the bedroom, it took them about one and a half hour to complete the whole job, and that included vacuuming. The install looks great. I will hire them again.

The whole process was good. Used them 2 yrs before, was good experience, so used again. Good prices, on time for installation, very professional job, although they left the front door unlocked when they left for the day after installing the carpets, were supposed to call us to come at the end, a little mix up.

They did a very professional job. I didn't have to wait long for them to install the carpet. The quality is high. I'd highly recommend them.

I couldn't ask for a better experience.  Wes and the staff over at National Carpet were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient.  My mortgage company made me jump through hoops before they would release the funds to me needed for this work to be done.  There were a few delays and reschedules on my part and Wes was patient and accommodating.  They never made up feel like we had to rush to make a decision.  Also when we selected both our carpet and tile, they didn't automatically point us to the most expensive items they had to offer.  They gave us a honest assessment based on our needs and gave a few suggestions and let us make the decision. I would definitely recommend National Carpet to anyone in the Maryland area.

I needed to replace the carpets in my house before renting it out.  When National Carpet did an estimate for me, they suggested that first I pull up the old carpet to see if there are any usable hardwood floors underneath and perhaps save some money.  I did that, but found that the floors underneath were too shabby and needed some work for which I did not have the time.  I arranged for the carpets to be installed in the next few days.  They arrived promptly on time, did the job quickly and very professionally - it took them about 2-3 hours to carpet both bedrooms.  They also moved all of the furniture around to get the job done, which made it completely hassle free for me.  After they were done, they cleaned everything up and put all the furniture back where it was.  I was very happy with the service and the results.  I will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.

They were very good.  I would recommend them to others.  They were very prompt when they came to give me the estimate and when they came to install it.  I think their price was very good when compared to the price that I had got from another provider.  I will use them again.

National Carpet was a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end.  They were prompt, courteous and professional during both the estimating phase and the installation phase.  I cannot speak to highly of them.  Also, their prices were very, very reasonable.

We bought a house that had ugly tile in the basement and wanted carpet on which our baby could crawl in the family room. We were planning to move within <1 week of the closing and needed a carpet installation set up for day #3 in the house (right after some other work was being done, before we moved in). We contacted National Carpet and the owner, Wesley, gave us his cell phone number and said he'd work around our schedule. He even met us _with the baby_ on a Sunday morning at the store to look at samples. He was very punctual when we made arrangements to have measurements done pre-closing at the house. The price he quoted was excellent and he was very knowledgeable about the carpet. We were very pleased.
