 + -1 moreMichael Kaub did an excellent job! He offered to come the same day I called, which helped me out tremendously. He was punctual and very professional. I would hire him again!
Description of Work: I have a very old house in Canton, Baltimore, which had beautiful woodwork on each side of a closet which separated two rooms; they are about 8 inches wide. The movers had damaged them by moving furniture and they made deep gouges and scratches which were the whole width (horizontally). Michael Kaub not only fixed the two areas that I pointed out to him, but he also touched up some other nicks in the wood (vertically) up and down the sides of the two pieces of wood.

Description of Work: Restored and refinished an old oak dining table and six chairs to a "better than new" condition. The finished product looks amazing and it's very obvious a tremendous amount of time and effort was put into the process.

 + -1 moreWe called and left a message. It took awhile for the gentleman to get back to us, and when he did is was a two week wait just to get an estimate. We had another company provide an estimate in a few days, and ultimately went with that company.
Description of Work: We requested an estimate to have about four pieces of furniture repaired.

 + -1 moreMichael took my Craig's list find and turned it into an heirloom quality dining room set. The dining Table and six chairs were in very poor condition. Parts had broken off and there was a horrible blond colored restaurant type of finish. Michael was able to take off The offending finish and return it to its original beauty. He was also able to Piece together the inner workings of the dining table and put everything back together and in working condition. Now the circa 1920s solid mahogany dining room set is a showpiece. Michael also repaired and refinished my mothers Stickley dining room set. I was amazed and delighted with the results. Michael's work is very high quality and suitable for your most treasured antiques. Michael also is a cabinetmaker and does extremely good custom work. He is well organized and prepared and follows through as promised.
