Couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Done in half day; no mess to clean up; ran house for half hour or so on generator to test and everything just hummed.

The generator turned off and did not resume.

Phone conversations with J&H were efficient, to the point, and productive. A meeting to inspect the generator and installation was scheduled quickly and recommendations along with a proposal and estimate for the work followed within a day or two. Three sensible options were proposed to solve the problem of communication between the generator and in-house monitor. I chose to implement two (hard wired connection and internet link) and both are working flawlessly. All interactions and service have been professional, confidence-inspiring, and just what I needed to restore my confidence in the generator and long-term service provider.

Great to work with! Initial appointment explained the different models, the price differences in coverage between the lower prices and the higher prices,the warrantees and the approximate amount that the gas company would charge for upgrade to the meter. Did a walk around the house to see where the gas and electric meter were located to incorporate into their proposal/ estimate. They arrived on time with a large team of experienced people did a great job! Everyone was also very friendly and helpful!

After the initial call to J and H Powers an appointment was set. They arrived on time and then shortly after their site visit an proposal was sent. We signed and were told when the work would be done. Powers contacted the county re: location of the unit and it was installed on the day they said. The inspection process by the County followed and we were up and running. So far smooth sailing.

I have a yearly contract with them. They come once a year and check my generator. They also installed a generator for me and I spent $13000 on the generator.
