I have been using Tina Fontana for several years for assistance with new window treatment design and fabrication, as well as furniture re-upholstery, custom fabrication of bed coverings and pillows, and re-design and re-fabrication of existing window treatments. I have found her work to be of the highest caliber and quality. She can provide the gamut of interior design services, and she has her own workroom and oversees all fabrication work personally. She also performs all of her own installations of her work. I first met Tina when I noticed a sign on MD Route 301 advertising her business, which stated she also sold some antiques. Having a bit of extra time, I stopped by her office/workroom to see what was there and she was onsite. Having just moved into a new house and having some window treatments from a previous house which I liked very much, and which matched bed comforters, upholstered furniture, etc, but which didn't fit my new house's windows at all, she advised that she could re-fabricate them for me. She did and the results were wonderful. I was very impressed. I had a lot more windows to dress, and over the past few years Tina has been assisting me room by room to design and fabricate window treatments for all of them, as well as re-upholstering several pieces of furniture and making custom bed treatments. Tina provides fabrication services for several other local interior designers, as well as a well-known very high-end local furniture store. Tina has been honored by her industry peers several times and has won multiple national awards in the Envision Design Competition for the creativity of her designs and for meeting challenges of out-of -the-ordinary installations. Pictures of her work have appeared in several national design publications. In addition to being highly talented and creative, Tina is also a lovely person to work with.
